You're right. Obviously, the league's worst pass defense just learned to play better, and WRs crayton and Hurd have stopped getting open even when TO is doubled. It is ridiculous to think that maybe Romo is a bit too comfortable with witten.

I could care less if it appears he is getting to comfortable with Witten, all I care is that he completed about 80% of his passes and averaged 8.9 yards per completion.

I can't believe ANY criticism of Romo today.

28 completions with only four incompletions in the first half! Over 200 yards in the first half! Zero interceptions. Then Romo battles injury to stay in there after that.

Are you frikkin kidding me. He almost broke Troy's all-time completion record in the first 30 minutes.

We were using ball-control passing and the ONLY problem was those turnovers. We lost another score at the end of the half because after the injury Romo was shot-putting the ball in that last drive and Folk actually missed one.

The score could have easily been Cowboys 20-7 or 24-7 at half.

Did we convert third downs? Yes
Did we wear out the defense? Yes
Did Tony avoid INTs? Yes
Did we avoid punts? Yes

I'm not saying Romo played bad, in fact, he played very good. The problem is that in that great first half, we trailed 14 - 7 and left opportunities out on the field (which was more evident in the stadium than on TV). Just as you say we could have been up big at the half, we could have just as easily been down 24 - 17 in the 4th qtr to a team that, on this sunday, appeared to have the worst passing attack in football if not for a holding penalty on a fumble return and a blocked kick returned for a TD. 3 weeks ago, the offense had a swagger, the ball was being spread around, and they looked like they were only getting better. I felt like 3rd & 19 was very doable when we were opening the offense up and now I let out a little sigh of relief after the first 1st down of each drive.
