when we go into our starting lineup or 4-5 wide reciever spread we got some big guys with speed and hands.

TO-....6-4

Sam Hurd-...6-3

Miles Austin-....6-3

Crayton-..6-0/6-1

Witten-...6-5(lines up as a wr sometimes)

damn were big at WR..were like the next JAX/lions.....only with a little better potential....especiallly with TO 3 times better then all there wideouts

i dont kno....i like this.

Lions only have 1 respectable reciever but the Jags have 3 recievers all with amazing talent.

Matt Jones owns every young reciever you have. 6'5, 230 pounds with straight up 4.3 speed. Reggie Williams is finally becoming the player he was in college. The dude catches everything thrown his way and doesn't care how hard he gets hit. Ernest Wilford is an amazing route runner.

Hurd or Austin don't come close to Jones, Williams and Wilford. Especially Jones, who's blessed with one of the most sick genetics in NFL right now.

we need to play hurd and austin. atleast throw hurd out there

Why do we need to play them....Everyone wants to see the young, undrafted rookies in a game on the road.....if we put the ball into their hands we will lose.....Hurd maybe....he proved he MIGHT be able to play at this level....Austin made 1 play in Pre-Season because the corner bit on a pump fake that didn't even happen....

No, they lost them to an alligator. They have hooks, now.

funny you mention Alligator, as that is what type of hands T.O. has. He hardly reaches out for tha classic catch as Irvin does. Reason why he drops so much.

Watch him Sunday, and tell me he doesn't have Alligator hands

Hurd and Austin are inexperienced but they have the tools to develop into very good receivers. Let's see how they grow on the job when given the opportunity.

Yeah, Hurd looked pretty good in preseason. Also Parcells is gushing over Austin. Last time someone I wanted to see get on the field that (1) looked good in preseason and (2) had Parcells gushing about him turned out to be the future QB of this franchise.

For some reason i don't think you were talking about the 1st year Tony Romo....you are talking about the 4th year Tony Romo....Hell we might as well through in Proctor and McQuistan....Those guys looked good in preseason and Parcells "gushed" about them.....:bang2: You want to know why...Because they aren't good enough...and if it wasn't for an injury to our best receiver over the last couple of years you wouldn't see Hurd either....and that is a good thing....unless you like seeing our guys go down....it is like regardless of injury...some people just want to "see what these guys have".....aren't we trying to win games?
