If you didn't want to address that to me, perhaps you should not have closed out your response post to me in the way you did. (#89 I think)

With Jimmy's plan, we could all see it working, little by little, improving, getting better, our record improving, winning in the playoffs. We could see it happening.

The improvement this season has come out of nowhere, and that is not my opinion.

Garrett had a different job to do, WV, than Jimmy had to do. Jimmy had a 3-13 team, that he blew up to a 1-15 team. The progress is going to be more noticeable, and the way the NFL was constructed then (no salary cap and the SLEW of draft picks they received) made it easier in some ways. Garrett has rebuilt the roster, kept us competitive, and now we are turning the corner. We have never had a losing season in these 4 years. I think his best job was last year, getting 8-8 out of a team with one of the worst defenses in NFL history ( a lot of that due to injury).

And once again I am glad to say, I did not have you in mind. I was making a joke out of the word "processed." The haters get processed, the Giants got processed and the Redskins are about to be processed. I don't agree with you on this issue, but I sure don't see you as a "hater." I do see you as being selective in what you want to see.... but that's ok by me.

I'm selective ?? Pot meet kettle.

I only see what is in front of me, .. and what is pretty obvious to see.

OK, back to my original point, ... I think it is a complete stretch to now say "the process worked".

    LOL .. just kidding, .. I'm done.

Best post I've seen. Let's just make a deal that we all can enjoy the ride and hope the SB comes our way soon. I'd rather have a successful JG and win and enjoy than deal with the ups and downs. I do appreciate the sentiments. I respect your passion and also your long time fandom!! I try with all the posters here. I would hope everyone would get onboard and support the good things that are happening.

Btw, quick side note. Have you ever read the book that Cliff Harris and Charlie Waters wrote together? Just one short story after another (alternating fashion) about their time playing. I loved it. Easy, entertaining, read.

No, but thanks for telling me about it! I'm sure you gathered I'm a massive fan of theirs from the avatar and therefore asked. I definitely want that now. I'm assuming this is it:

    Thanks again, I'll order it.

On another aside the only group of football cards I collected and still own are ones from the 77-79 seasons. Just great stuff.

That's the one. I thought it was great. The short snippets make it a perfect book to pick up when you have 5 minutes at a time. Those years 77-79 were fantastic. I was in attendance at the 77 NFC Championship game against the Vikings. I'll never forget it. It was COLD. :)
