Anyone familiar with this injury? In your opinion is this something you risk playing on?

Ask Doctor Les Bowen, of the Philadelphia Daily News ...he seems to have failed to quote a physician's perspective regarding this matter.

wow, that would suck for me. He has produced so well for me so far in fantasy(except for last night, in which he lost me my game this week:mad: ).

But hey, he wont help when they actually play good opponents anyways

Good opponents ...like the Skins I presume?

If I were the Eagles I would make him get the surgery now. With how easy their early schedule is, they can get by without him for now. Tey'll need him healthy if they want any chance of surviving the second half of that schedule.

Same here...i can't imagine how many people's fantasy games were blown because of that injury...

Les Bowen is the Eagles beat writer for the Philadelphia Daily News, I'am sure he has more inside Info the Phoenix-Talon does.

You shouldn't wish for anybody to get hurt. You sound like some Eagle fans. Westbrook is a good player and when we beat the Eagles I dont want any excuses of why they loss.

I'm surprised by some of the comments in this thread. Its embarrassing as a Cowboy fan. Folks, go back and read what some of you typed and you'll find nothing separates you from Eagles fans.

Westbrook is not TO. By all appearances he's a classie kid.

I want Philly at full strength. If we're rooting for Eagle injuries so we can win, we deserve to lose anyway.

I'm guessing they'll scope him after our game Sunday. They have a couple weak games, and a bye. That's ample time for a 2 to 4 week injury.

Who exactly is hoping he gets hurt? Not all the posts express deep regret, but nobody has said anything like "good, I hope he's out for the year" or anything.

I agree completely.

Who cares about excuses? With Westbrook out, our odds increase ten-fold. They can make all the excuses they want and I won't care if we get 1 more W and they get 1 more L.

And no, we're not wishing injury on him. First of all, he's already hurt. It's not like I'm hoping he gets hit by a bus. Right now, he's questionable for an injury that's already occured, and I just hope it keeps him out of the game.

Oh get over yourself!

No one said that they wanted him injured (at least not severely). They just said that if he is out, so be it...and that is my stance too. I don't want to win dirty or see us intentionally hurt anyone but injuries happen and if he can't go...so be it. The only thing that really matters to me is that We Win.

If he gets the knee scoped and is out that isn't our fault and if it helps us win...fine. If he doesn't get it scoped and the knee causes him to be less effective than usual and it helps us win...fine. If he comes into the game and gets blown up and goes out with an injury and it helps us win...fine. If he comes in at full strength and we kick their butts anyway...fine.

Ole EagleAye (obviously not EagleEye) missed this serious thread in his quest. An injury isn't serious enough for him? It's a major part of his team's offense.

i have had the surgury, its no biggie even for me and i only got to rehab 2 times a week. i could see him back in a short amount of time

But what was the context of the rehab. Did you play sports on a competitive level at the time, and was depending on it.

Playing sports, and the pounding everyday, is a little different than if your just walking into an office building, or where ever.

A friend of mine had his anterior cruciate ligament operated on. His doctor told the rehab is much different than if he played sports, or even if he jogged for exercise. He didn't do either, so only went a few times a week also.

If he comes in at less than full strength and gets blown up...it's their own fault for playing him less than 100%....especially with a knee injury.
