Emmitt had a classic a few weeks ago following the Saints' MNF game where Deuce McAllister broke the franchise TD record.

Stuart Scott asked Emmitt the importance of Deuce, and Emmitt had a bumbling reply something to the effect of: "Deuce, Deuce Staley is a guy you, who is best with the ball, that can run."

It was so great I TiVo'd it and showed it to my wife later in the night.

Emmitt's a great Cowboy-- possibly the greatest-- but I don't understand how he has a job in broadcasting.

That's almost as good as the "can a leopard change its stripes" comment.

He didn't elaborate and the Sportscenter anchor who was interviewing him didn't ask.

I guess he was there as a former employee instead of a member of the media. He may have come away with some nuggets for use in the future, or he may keep it all private out of respect for his former boss.
