Yes and no. I’m not sure we can base this offense on our best offensive production of the year against one of the worse defenses in the league. We’ve been down that road before then we wonder what happens when we face a top defense in the playoffs.

We should base our offense on the sum of our season. And if you want to use just the 3 games Dak had played that’s fine but it will provide a more realistic number.

But using the last or best game of offensive productivity is a skewed measurement of the season. Now if this trend continues then we can begin to acknowledge the heightened improvement as more of the norm.
