What “Top 10” Prospect Slides?

I pretty much think mock drafts are silly exercises in futility, but what consensus “Top 10” prospect do you see sliding?

I’m going with RaShawn Slater. I think he’s a solid prospect that’s likely destined for the inside at OG. I could see him sliding and being taken somewhere between 12-20.
You got to think one of the receivers has a chance to get past us, if not 2. Slater could slide, but probably would be scooped in the next couple of picks as teams need OL help, Giants desperately even need a Guard. I think Parsons could slide cause of his position and character, don't think he falls past the Patriots at 15.

If I has one choice, think Smith is the most likely to be picked outside the top 10.

I'd say most likely sliders are Slater, Smith and Parsons
I think if the Broncos pass on Parsons he could slide the furthest, Smith and Slater will probably go top 12.

If Collins get any bigger, he is going to be more of an edge player. Think some will view him as a 3-4 OLB.

FWIW, Levon Kirkland played ILB for the Steelers weighing between 275-290 pounds.

That’s true. But in today’s NFL it’s a little different with wide open passing and faster paced offenses.

Not saying it can’t be done, but just not a fan of Collins and now I’m even more less of a fan

I think both the Bama fall to the 15 range. Smith is very good, but can he be a 90 catch year in year our without breaking down. Most writeups say they dont think he can add much weight. Waddle is talent, but he is more of a #2. Eagles probably most likely team after us to go WR, can you pair Waddle and Reagor? Thats a very fasr crew, but who is making the 3rd and shorts?

A lot of it will depend on whether it's solid weight that he can carry, or whether he hit the buffet lines a bit too hard. He very well may have added weight to present as an edge prospect to some teams. Given that he played at a lower weight at Tulsa, and had no issues with his movement skills, I think he will be fine.

May be right about durability but I doubt he can’t gain weight.

That said, Hollywood Brown (Ravens) measured in at 5’-9” 166 lbs at the combine.

He has since gained 23 lbs of muscle since his rookie year. Smith has a bigger 6’ frame which helps in adding weight to.

I have to guess Collins agent got word that some teams wanted to see him at that Edge/DE weight.

Cause odd to be 270lb and wanting to be a 4-3 LB or even 3-4 ILB

Agreed. I mentioned it easier in the zaven Collins thread. I think that's his role. See James Harrison...

Is he top 10? The only OL I've seen as a top 10 is Sewell. 4 QB's, 2 WR's, 1 TE, 1 OL, 1 CB and 1 LB. Since a 5th QB is likely to slide up into the top 10, that means one falls and I think that's either Parsons or Surtain. Pitts sure a hell isn't getting past 10, if he gets that far.

Is Collins trying to move to edge? Holy smokes, 270lbs! Anyone have recent pics of him? I'm wondering where he's carrying that weight.

I was going to say either him or Devonta Smith.

And Kirkland was a physical monster. Collins ain’t that.

I say D. Smith falls, and I thought him to be the candidate before he stepped on a scale.
