Good post especially about mock drafts, fans are are crazy to get mad about some draft that will be at least 60 percent wrong. As to slider, if Atlanta doesn't take Pitts at 4, then I won't be surprised to see him fall to 10. Why, forget what all the analyst and media say because if they were correct then Lawrence would probably be the only QB taken in the top 10 but we know that's not going to happen. Look at the other teams past Atlanta, Cincy isn't going to take Pitts with Chase or Sewell on the board, neither is Miami. Great chance Detroit trades out for a team needing a QB but even if they didn't OT and WR are far more crucible to success than a TE no matter how good he is.
A TE isn't going to see the ball most likely more than 4 to 6 times in a game even if their names are Kelce or Kittle. Sure they see it sometimes more and are match up problems but unless you have at least a good set of WR and a good RB and a good OL, it is not going to make a great difference. If Carolina doesn't protect Darnold then no way we see any improvement with him than with the Jets. Plus Carolina is another good trade down candidate for any team wanting a QB or CB or WR. Denver is much like Dallas needing a CB but no way they pass on a QB either or trade down with a team like Giants, Eagles, Chargers who need OL or WR. Still Atlanta is the key as I see them either taking a QB or trading down and lastly taking Pitts.
