This to me is a must win game. Actually the next 2 are must wins.
But if we lose and drop to 3-5. We will be tied with 3 teams. and there will be 8 teams in front of us in the NFC. One being GB at 3-4-1, Atlanta, Philly, Seattle at 4-4

A win gets us to 4-4. Tied with 3 teams, but Seattle has already beat us.
However that puts us 1 game back from the Vikings for that 2nd WC spot, as it does the other 2 teams.
But more importantly, 1 game behind Washington.

Next week, we must beat the Eagles, and Washington goes to TB, with a beat up OL.
Seattle at Rams.

These next 2 weeks are big. We must win both games.
But can they do it. I need to see how they play tonight. Crisp and precise or sloppy and unprepared.
But I will take an ugly win.

with the way they have played in the first half of the season every game is pretty much a must win if they expect to ge t into the playoffs

tonight is big but the division games are even bigger.

was should fall off a bit and philly should win more.
looks like a heated 3 team race imho.

Keeps us right on pace for 8-8 and drafting 16th...I mean 48th in next year's draft.

I agree but that is just to get back into the conversation. Tonight game can gets us back to 4-4 but with Philly, Alt and Washington coming up all of those games are big. I have always used the record after Thanksgiving Day game as the barometer to see what our chances are.

This stretch between now and Thanksgiving is huge for us. Who do we have? Tonight is titans, then egirls and falcons and deadskins.

We need to go 3 out of 4. If we pull off a upset against the falcons and are on a roll going into the saints game then we will be playing some good football. We can only drop 2 more games and still have a chance of winning division and making the playoffs.

This is why JG blowing 2 games is so upsetting. He could have cost us the season.

Tonight’s game gets it started. If we struggle or are flat in this game then we won’t fair to well in the stretch.

Lose tonight and the season is just about done. Although I am sure there will be some thinking they still have a shot.

Yes, I usually give it 10 games, see where we stand.
It goes back to 1990 when we were 3-7, and won 4 straight. I bet this board back then would have been worse than now.
But we had a chance to get into the playoffs from that point. Of course a lot of teams were in the same boat as we were. May not be the case always, but there was a chance. As no one expected us to win 4 straight back then.

So yeah, this is a big game tonight. Lose this one and the playoffs are probably a big long shot.

I agree, pretty much done, but not eliminated.
But id we can't beat the titans at home, we sure aren't going to win many games after that. Though you never know, it could happen.
But I won't hold my breath. However, as I posted above, in 1990 at 3-7, we won 4 straight. With this division, who knows what will happen.

I'm more worried about winning enough games to get down as low as possible in the draft order. Playoffs aren't even a consideration.

That would be my message to the team in the pre-game. You guys have no chance. Your QB sucks. Now get out there and win some games so the Raiders don't pick too early. Cowboys on 3....

We lose this game and we are done. But I do think if we drop this game that we also drop JG. I think losing this winnable game will finally push JJ into doing it.

To many division games and tough teams coming for us to recover from a lose tonight.

A win tonight is expected. It’s next week in Philly that will tell the test of the changes.

All winnable games actually. Well, the Saints, only hope there are we are finally playing great ball, and it is a home game.
We win tonight and look good doing it.
Have you seen anything from the Eagles that scares you, no
Atlanta, they looked great yesterday, but they are an up and down team like we are.
Washington, after yesterday, and we have them at home, not scared
Saints, scared, yes.
Home against the Eagles, again have not seen anything that scares me. But 5 weeks away, they could be scary.

What scares me is our coaching staff and schemes more so than any team left on our schedule.

That Philly game next week is not "winnable" in the sense that it's a toss up game. We are already are a 6 point dog. Philly stops the run and we have shown zero ability to run the ball if Dak isn't somewhat effective.

Winning that game would be a major upset.

Nothing is historic about our team anymore. If we can keep the game out of JGs hands we will be ok. This stretch will tell us a lot. Don’t expect Cooper to be a huge individual factor in this game. But he could be a impact on the other WR getting in the game. Beez could be on fire tonight. Or Gallup.
