Why? We all know David Irving could be the most destructive DT in the game if his heart and mind were in it. If Irving shows remorse and the willingness to play seriously, why wouldn't you want to take that chance? We've got nothing to lose at this point.

probably not. But MM may feel differently. Its hard to overlook a guy who quit on the team. Will he do it again? If that last question can be def. answered, then MAYBE. I just don't wanna commit. Its called trust.

I agree. Now if some team wants to take a $10MM/year chance on him i'm out, but i would assume you could get a low dollar deal that is easy to get out of for Irving. You have McCoy, maybe they bring in another DT or draft a guy like Kinlaw. If Irving comes back really ready to play you might have one of the best DT situations in the league.
