That's when his contract is up. He'll be 33 by then and Ogletree will get his shot I'm sure by then. Miles and Roy arn't going anywhere for awhile.

32 but i see what your saying. if he doesnt ask for too much and too long i would resign him though, but if KO is ready to take over by then its cool to let him walk

that screen pass play was really nifty.

there were so many things going on with that.

it had a fake to felix, then it almost setup a screen to witten on the other side as well.

the linebackers just stood there in the middle wondering *** is going on.

not sure that it will work all the time because i can just picture someone rushing romo and just blowing the whole play up.

Your blocking Ogletree if you resign Crayton. Roy and Miles have the X and Y locked for the next 3-4 years.

Crayton burned our return for TD allotment in blowouts. Were not getting anymore until next year

by then we most likely will have new coaches and if they are good coaches then they will play the best player and nobody will be blocked from playing and we would have an up and coming guy with a solid established vet providing quality depth.

Little burst on the screen, eh?

I think its time he become a permanent fixture on the roster and Allen Rossum take a hike.

He won't start or get many snaps but he's got the type of speed that makes it worth while for him to get a play or two.

What you guys think?

Possible. I don't think the Cowboys really like putting Felix back on kick returns, so I think that will get Rossum back on the active roster.

Playing Ogletree was just a bonus Sunday. Rossum is more likely seen as a necessity because of the risk of injury to Jones.

Of course, if Felix breaks off a return, that might keep Rossum inactive.

Probably depends on who else we get at receiver. Hurd likely will leave for greener pastures in free agency (unless the CBA doesn't get done and he's back to being a restricted free agent).

Crayton might want to leave when his contract expires if someone is willing to pay him, but a 32-year-old slot receiver shouldn't draw too much interest from anyone other than Dan Snyder or Al Davis. I could see Dallas re-signing him as a cheap backup at that point, but that's all.

If the CBA gets worked out, though, I see Ogletree taking over Hurd's role next year as the fourth receiver.
