Poz played ILB this year for PSU. Dan Connor and Sean Lee played "outside" although really Tim Shaw had a lot of OLB responsibilities and Dan would move to the inside in their 3-4. Poz also played half the year with a bulky knee brace as part of his recovery from the Orange Bowl injury. One thing's for certain about him - he's absurdly dedicated and will be the hardest worker on the team.

Dan Connor and Sean Lee look like future first round picks in 2008 and 2009. Connor certainly will be unless he gets hurt this year.

Throw in OSU's stud junior Laurinaitis and some of the kids at USC, and next year's LB class looks loaded.

I really like Pos and think he'd be a good player for us at 22. Do I think we'll draft him? No, probably not... but he just might be the BAP at 22.

His instincts are just so good and he'll be all over the field, flying around for whoever takes him. Phillips would find a way to use him I'd bet.

Here's a typical Pos play:

While Penn State is a manufacturer of linebackers, I don't think that position is a need for us this season.

qb/ rb / wr / ot / g/ c/ cb/ s/ dt.

that's our need....not necessarily in that order either.

That makes no sense. You are really trying to tell me that QB, RB, OG, and C are all bigger needs than LB? We have Romo, JOnes/MB3, Davis/Koiser, and Gurarde at those positions who will be on the team for at least a few years.
