Yup, and UT has what is prolly the deepest pockets in college football.NIL money is the key.

Sark has been like this from the beginning. Absolutely awful playcalling.I am a solid no on this. That last series of play calls with the game on the line turned me off in a big way. I know it is just one series, but why take the risk that in a big situation he will not call something equally stupid coaching the Cowboys.
I thought Texas was outplayed and outcoached last night.
I also question his judgement starting Quinn Ewers. He is awful and holds back the entire team. I understand he is Sark's pet and that's why he plays.
Took ATL in 2016 as the OC. Failed due to horrific 4th qtr playcalling. No thanks. I haven’t seen a reason to believe he’s a coach that could take a team to a Super Bowl.
Sark was paid 10.6 mil at UT in 2024.Texas is a better job that the Dallas Cowboys.
"I don't trust a man that doesn't drink".......Ghandi 1942Putting a recovering alcoholic in Sarkisian with a full blown alcoholic in Jerry Jones doesn't seem like a great idea.
The Atlanta OC against New England was Kyle Shanahan, not Steve Sarkisian.Sark has been like this from the beginning. Absolutely awful playcalling.
And guess what Sark did in the super bowl, ATL vs NE? He was the OC when ATL built a huge lead on NE back in 2016, then had Matt Ryan getting sacked repeatedly by taking 10 step drops w/ a 3 score lead. Wasn't able to call any clock taking plays at all, just more deep drops while NE teed off.
Sark is a hard pass, a very very hard pass. He's an idiot, and his playcalling crapp only works against bad teams. He was terrible vs ARI ST, but the superior talent on the Longhorns bailed him out.
Oooopsy!!!The Atlanta OC against New England was Kyle Shanahan, not Steve Sarkisian.
and speaking to Horns fans, they are so grateful that the Quinn Ewers era is over ... and the Manning era finally begins in 2025.His time starts this Spring, he had to get redshirted in order to play three full seasons
Which neuters any and all accomplishments. No different than the Yankees or big EPL clubs.Yup, and UT has what is prolly the deepest pockets in college football.
You might want to come to terms with the fact Arch Manning may not be a very good quarterback. You can understand every Hall of Fame quarterbacks’ grand kids are not great quarterbacks, too. You get that, right? That is correct as a Longhorn fan we've been saying this all season why has manning not at least been giving one series per half early in the season like when Quinn was out and manning started those two games if I'm the head coach I would give Quinn his head starting job back yes but I would try to keep manning in the games at least one series per half and then increase them to two series per half the whole entire season no matter what the scenario is doesn't matter how Quinn was playing good bad or indifferent you needed to keep manning fresh and mentally focused on game plans and in the game so a game like this he's not just being utilized as a decoy or as a runner when you bring him in for one damn play and everybody knows what's happening if manning was on the field last night and he say he was brought in when they were just inside the 50 on this last drive and now he's throwing and running and nobody knows what's coming when they would've got inside the one yard line had that scenario happened again say inside the five yard line I think we score because you can use manning as a two way player but you're right he does not pull out the starting quarterback unless he's injured...
In my opinion manning brings more to this team he's a better version of Colt McCoy he literally runs like Sam and he throws like Colt.. I mean I don't understand why you don't use all your weapons and no not for one damn play because when you get inside the one yard line and you have a mobile quarterback and it's a real RPO, A guy is used to handling both run pass options you're a better team for it you wouldn't need to run some stupid sweet out to the outside against a really fast defense that was a bad call.
We've been wanting the kicker changed all year and then he waits till last night to change the kicker which is shocking I'm still can't get over the fact that he did pull his kicker but yet didn't use manning except for one run play I don't get it you're trying to play for a championship and you leave talent sitting on the bench that the other teams not prepared to see for an extended period of time it would have been strategically a great move to use manning for a full series like you know let him run full series like leave him out there until they score a punt for multiple times you should've been doing that for weeks if not months and he doesn't do it but sometimes that is what coaches do too stubborn to make changes and then there we are we losing that ugly fashion I still salty get like a gut punch 'cause that worse if Quinn doesn't fumble we turn the ball over on downs and now they're inside the goal line like literally three inches just outside the goal line with our defense who knows we could have got a safety we could've got the ball back and then we could've been trying to score to win the game yeah it would've been improbable but there would've been a chance but when Quinn fumbles again once again inside the red zone he's a turnover machine and now it's over and now sark in lament and all this of what he could've done more and that would've been putting manning in.. I'm not putting all the blame on Quinn not at all but manning has more tools he's a better player and had he been used properly all season both as a passer and a runner literally got into the games kept him in the games we'd have been better off for it this game the other team would have never known what was coming but when you run him out there for a run play they know what's coming...
UGHH!!! So football's over for me I'm salty I'm angry and I totally agree Mr. pet Quinn now he and sark can go have a bye bye dinner..ughh
So is managing a grocery store.Texas is a better job that the Dallas Cowboys.
haha........ The difference is Sark makes 10.6M vs 4M for MM. Sark also doesn't have a moron boss micromanaging his football team.So is managing a grocery store.

I'm a big UT fan. Sark seemed to finally have enough of Ewers against Georgia in October. Arch was always going to be the future and seemed to make the decision. Yet, he brings back Ewers back in the 2nd half, I didn't get it. Ewers was nothing more than hype out of high school in Southlake Carroll. Never had to work for anything. He sits out his senior year of HS. Goes to Ohio State and is last on their depth chart (for good reason). Hits the portal and gets a huge NIL deal for Texas. Never had to earn his spot at Texas. The same Sarkisian who plays a worse player because he was on the team first and paid his "dues". And that called a terrible offensive game. That guy? No thx

If Sark stuck with Arch from October, he probably loses Georgia but it doesn't matter as he could have easily won the rest of their schedule. And he would have beat Georgia in the SEC champ game. Arch's legs opens up that offense so much because the defense has to respect he can take off at any time and can escape pressure. Quinn is a statue. They got away with it vs Clemson and Arizona St. But not against Ohio St.
And the last 2 years, Texas redzone offense has been bottom of the barrel. And how did their last 2 seasons end? Terrible redzone playcalling in the redzone to lose in the semis. Sark is calling all the plays. He reminds me a lot of Kellen Moore and Garrett when it comes to playcalling and situational playcalling.
I'll pass.

This!!I don't see it. College has equal or more pull compared to the NFL for to top Head coaches these days, especially if the coaches can work with the transfer portal frequency for and against.
Steve made 10.3mil last year. That's double what MM got here.
I doubt Jerry would want to pay any coach a guaranteed 10mil+ per year.
