Bum.
I'd put him in for Price personally.I would put Datone Jones in for Ward
I had heard he was having a good camp, but lost track of his progress.
Does he have any trade value?
Chances of making the 53 ?
Can never have too many CB's or Defensive ends. We are sky high on Gregory right now but Gregory always comes with a BUT. So it's Tank, Taco, Gregory, Armstrong, Tapper and Ealy. We kept 6 DE's last year on the 53 and I don't see keeping fewer. Tapper is worth more on our roster than he is in a trade. He hasn't played a down of NFL football in 2 years. I say he makes the 53 and we'll all know on Saturday

I think there will be some guys released that have some talent but will get caught in the numbers game. Tapper I think is a one of those guy on the bubble
He was a college 5tech who ran much better than expected at the combine becoming the quintessential boom or bust player teams begin to look at in the 4th round. He was probably going to need 2 years of development and fan expectations were always overblown. Unfortunately he spent the 2 years he should have been developing on ir. He really doesn't seem to have any pass rush moves other than straight line speed and hasn't seemed to be much more than an afterthought by the coaching staff in preseason games. Outside of injuries, I don't see there being much point in keeping him and don't see him having much trade value. Think they're going to use the extra spot on some oline flyers after cuts!I had heard he was having a good camp, but lost track of his progress.

Trade value? Very little. Making the 53? Yes. I believe he can have more of an impact as part of the rotation than anything he would bring on the trading block.
Wave goodbye....there’s no logic to keeping the 5th best DE from camp and preseason. We can not afford to go long on DE or WR. The whole value of being deep and having great competition at those positions is that you don’t need extras. 4 DEs - DLaw, Taco, Gregory, Armstrong (and you still have Crawford and maybe Jones who play both DL spots). Keep 5 WRs only, unless #6 is a special teamer. You don’t need extras. You need extras at positions without proven players...DB, TE, OT.
He may hav3 missed his window in Dallas.I had heard he was having a good camp, but lost track of his progress.

I hope you are right, but what about this recent story non story with Gregory.Ha...it means I think Gregory has put his demons behind him and is ready to be the qb hunting demon he was born to be
I don't think Ealy makes the roster as a DE.
