I don't see Kellen Moore, not great, far better arm than Moore. His upside looks like Kirk Cousins to me.

Yeah, report said Rush has a lollipop arm and below minimum NFL QB strength. Wonder if Cooper has gotten stronger since then because while he doesn't have a cannon, I don't see a lollipop either. He seems to possess decent enough arm strength.

My knocks on Linehan is his red zone offense and his lack of slant patterns. Other than that, yeah, he seems to know his QB sans Moore.

All good, but he abandoned the run last year against the Packers when we needed to keep our defense off the field. All we had to do was do what got us there, I am hoping he learned from this because we can't waste the opportunity we know have.

They were 4 year college starters, winners, and were hand-picked/coached up by Linehan. Jerry has dont alot wrong over the years, but bringing in Linehan might have been his best move since hiring Jimmy. Linehan knows how to evaluate and coach QBs. And getting 3 NFL QBs for the cost of a single 4th round pick has set this franchise up for a great future.
Jason Garrett chose Linehan. They worked together in Miami.

I was reading the draft profile of Cooper Rush. Did anyone notice his NFL comparison in it?! Check it out: http://www.nfl.com/draft/2017/profiles/cooper-rush?id=2557933

Spoiler:
NFL Comparison
Kellen Moore

There is nothing in the weaknesses section of that scouting report that remotely resembles what we have seen on the field from Cooper Rush. It sounded more like it was written by someone with an axe to grind. There is no comparison between his arm and Moore's. There are a few teams that if Rush had done for them what he has done this preseason, would be talking about him as the starter.

We called slightly more running plays than normal in the playoff game, despite being down 21-3 early.

Luckily, we were saved by that brilliant spike. Thank God for Garrett.

Kicking Garrett to the curb and bringing in a real football/offensive mind was 100% the best thing he did in a while. That, and bringing in McClay to run the scouting department. Is it any wonder the team started turning things around when Linehan came in?

Yep, but it was specifically because we got away from the run early that we got in the big hole. Trying to get cute on 3rd and short, ect.....ect......

Yes, Garrett picked Linehan 100%. But he was forced out of running the offense by Jones. A move he fought.

Did he? I don't not recall Jason having any issues once he hired someone he trusted, which IMO was the right call.
