Uhhh......I think your boy is the one on crusade......his net worth has been estimated between 40 and 60 million. Yep, he's a straight up disciple. Working for the big man.

He sent a lot of "prayers' but didn't pony up the goods until pressured.

A building that can handle 16,000+ people.

Didn't his get skinned out of millions thru electronic transfers or something 5-7 years ago? Think I recall reading headlines on the checkout counter rags waiting in line o_O

With all of this talk about what Osteen did or did not do, there is one person being overlooked: Jim McIngvale known as Mattress Mack around Houston. He owns the Gallery Furniture retail chain.

This man is always the first philanthropist/business owner opening his doors to anyone. He is the true humanitarian to all Houstonians. Whenever someone is in need, Jim is there.

People who live or are from Houston know who he is and what he represents. If there is some kind of reward for heroism, this guy deserves it. In every storm or whatever disaster that happens, he jumps in from the start to help the city. He is what Texas and Houston represent as a stellar individual who is there for fellow citizens.
