What are the chances Sam Bradford will want out of Phillie and the Cowboys trading for him?

Sorry if discussed elsewhere, I couldn't do a search to find it.

They, the Eagles, said he is going to be their starter this year.
That gives the QB they draft time to learn

Also he would cost a good deal to trade and the new team would have to rework the contract but it would still cost the Eagles some money.

Said it was better for him to stay there this year and maybe get traded next year.

Right now they have over $30 million tied up in their QBs and that is before they draft one at #2 overall.

Next year is a good possibility some team might pick him up as a backup. Of course we will have Dak Prescott so....

He's apparently pissed and wants out and rumors are he would even restructure his deal to get out.

But he wants to start so it's a non-starter for us.

Further, the Eagles would have to swallow an $11MM cap hit this year if they trade him now. Might as well keep him and let him play while Wentz holds a clipboard.

He would be stupid to want out. Nobody else is going to pay him 12.5 million this season and a possible 22 million next year. Let the Eagles cut him and he collects 22 mil guaranteed.

Why?

He's made a crap ton of money already and he wants to play. Even if he agreed to a restructure, he's going to get paid by someone. Maybe not $12.5MM but maybe 8 or so from someone like Denver.

Frankly, it would be brilliant if he could swing a trade to Denver. He's rich already, he'd likely still have a nice chunk of change coming from Denver, and he has a far better shot of winning a SB than he would in Philly.

Who's going to pick up that contract? I wouldn't. If he gets traded, he likely gets renegotiated. Besides, he's the likely starter this season. Maybe next year but I don't see him doing it this year.

Rumors are he's told the Eagles to work a trade out and that he'll restructure for a team that wants him.

I have more of a chance of Scarlett Johannsen calling me up for a date this weekend.

That's possible but I think it's stupid if he does that. He's going to be the starter this season IMO. Maybe next year but this year? I don't see anybody paying him that kind of money. I wouldn't but then again, people are handing out ridiculous contracts to QBs who are not very good. I guess anything is possible.

If the Eagles come to him and say Denver wants him, would he be stupid?

Of course not. He'd go from starting for a loser to being an instant SB contender.

If Denver has done that but I have no idea if Denver has or would do that.
