It seems the organization has been on radio silence. They are all waiting for our rage to burn out before peaking their nappy heads out of the covers.Folks I am from NY. That itself is a depressing thing but table that for a minute. Curious - what are the locals saying in TX? On the sports radio? On local TV? Podcasts?
I am truly interested to know if fans close to AT&T are dumping on Jones. Is he a local pariah? What’s it actually like in Cowboysland now?
Thank you
I'm a sinnerPride is a sin.
It’s more like a serious addiction - with no known cure. I just don’t get how a kid in Texas could become a Cowboys fan these days, it seems like it should a dept. of human services referral.Apparently you can't wait either....you're still here, along with all the fans that call this team, owner, coach, QB a joke. You all criticize make fun and call names, but you're still here, falling for the same okie doke.
If you all had any pride, you wouldn't put yourself through this....gluttons for punishment.
Touche'I live 12 minutes from AT&T stadium. My comment still stands.
Ahhh but remember this is not normal for us. We got 4.5 times the avg yearly snowfall in like 14 hours the other dayIm in Toronto.
Y'all talking about cold is almost as fun for me as watching Cowboys fans who thought Jerry was actually going to do something.
What does you being held accountable look like?Troy was on The Ticket this morning and pretty much said he was not surprised with bringing MM back because you cannot judge him on one bad game which is what this was. I can't say I agree with him though because it is the HC job to oversee that all phases of the game are prepared for the team coming. This team was not prepared in any phase of the game and it was glaringly obvious. As a manager, I am responsible for my staff getting thigs done and if they aren't completed and completed successfully it is on me and I am held accountable. I don't see where this has happened in this situation.
Well, if I failed at the level this team did on a national stage, complete and TOTAL, I certainly would not have been marched out by my boss given a high 5 and told you did a great job go do the same thing again please. My team and myself would have been put on notice at the very least and none of us would be smiling. What does you being held accountable look like?
If I'm a outside investor to your company how would I know of this accountability?
Is it posted on a website I can see?
Is there a Rowdy's Company fan board I can read about your shortcomings and add my own opinion too?
Will there be a press conference about your accountability?
The point is we have no idea what was done or said behind closed doors as it relates to accountability with MM.
No I was not but on TV I couldn’t hear muchWere you at the game?
Translation - Embrace mediocrity. What does you being held accountable look like?

I was there, and people were BOO'ing. No I was not but on TV I couldn’t hear much
I'm just trying to figure out what people think accountability should be.Translation - Embrace mediocrity.
Thank you for an honest reply.Well, if I failed at the level this team did on a national stage, complete and TOTAL, I certainly would not have been marched out by my boss given a high 5 and told you did a great job go do the same thing again please. You are right though Jerry may have threatened to fire him, etc. etc. behind the scenes. This is an entertainment business after all.
From most of the radio I listen to around DFW and from talking to other fans it is about 99.9% they wanted to blow things up and now are sad they have to run most of this back and go through the process again. Honestly this may be the saddest I've seen it. More defeat than anger.Folks I am from NY. That itself is a depressing thing but table that for a minute. Curious - what are the locals saying in TX? Si Habla Espanol. No SSN needed. ITINs accepted.Curious - what are the locals saying in TX?
They're soft. Soft like this team, its coaching, its owner and most of us fans. For the record I did not want this thread to devolve. NY Sports radio and the other local reporters are pretty rough. For example when the Yankees tanked this season people were killing Cashman locally. I mean killing him. I was curious how that works in TX that’s all.
While I am not condoning the movie and won’t mention the name here the script was excellent. The most quotable line…They're soft. Soft like this team, its coaching, its owner and most of us fans.
The fact that I'm even here kinda makes me feel like I'm sitting under the south end of a north facing horse.
