I have read that Dallas may try and deal DMC for defensive help...Thoughts and what could the Boys seriously get for him?

I dunno but, I made a thread about this immediately following the draft, and pretty much got my head bit off so.....Good Luck!!

Different situation now, he got hurt and gave Morris and the rookies a chance to show their worth.

I don't think McFadden has any trade value, maybe a conditional pick. He could be a surprise cut though if Darius Jackson shows enough.

Id prefer they keep him but i cant imagine him pulling back a player or a non conditional pick

Now this has got me thinking about the 2008 draft when we got Felix. James Charles was just sitting there in the 3rd. Ahhhh

After last year and the turnstyle we had at the position..

and as well as DMac did settling it down..

why would you even think about letting him go?

Especially when we have no idea if Morris is the early version or the later version yet.

Add to that a Hammie with Zeke..

I say we sit pat and take 4 RBs into the season and put somebody on practice squad if we can.

We are going to run 2 out of 3 Downs this year guaranteed.

We need RBs.

Make it an equal competition, make them all run the same plays using the same blocking scheme, I have feeling DMC will consistently be 3rd or 4th among the 4 running backs.

The longer McFadden stays out, the more forgotten last year becomes.

Dallas now has a fresh set of potential contributors eager to see what its like to run behind a dominant line.

Obviously his value climbs should the other RB's Morris, Jackson, and Dunbar fail to impress.

But, I would be pretty nervous if I was him.

So no way we are taking 4 RB's and 4 QB's to training camp. That leads me to believe we may not look for a backup and McFadden is probably gone....or I guess Dunbar if he doesn't come back to form.

I would totally trade him for Sean Lee. We can be the first NFL team to trade for one of their own players? What?

best case scenario is if another team has some injuries at RB through preseason, and only then we might can make a player trade, he probably has no trade value for picks.

If we keep him we lose Darius Jackson. That's what I think. I can see Jackson getting cut in the hopes he makes it to the practice squad but ending up signing somewhere else and embarrassing Ezekiel Elliott for the next 10 years. Probably in Washington. That's the vibe I'm getting.

Who the heck would trade for McFadden though? He's a journeyman player with not much tread left who just happened to play with a great OL and no passing game last year. His stock should be non-existent.

Well, seems they should trade Darius Jackson for a 1st round pick in the 2017 draft then. Keep McFadden, and hope Dunbar recovers.
