What are the Jones boys thinking after this NY victory?

The giants are doing more with less… at least on offense. Playing to their strengths. Look at the difference dabol has made.

Look at the eagles with Reid… Peterson and siriani over two decades. While we bring in hand picked guys of Jerry.

Jerry shoulda realized it after we looked horrible at home against sf last year. Coaching matters. We lose tomorrow in my view we’re borderline the third best organization in the division. Passed up by the eagles and giants again. Two franchises over the past 25 years with more sb appearances combined then we have playoff wins.

The Giants immediately signed Jason Garrett to be the OC when Dallas did not retain him. I think the plan was to promote him to head coach if Joe Judge faltered. He "coached" that offense to 2nd to last in the NFL...then to dead last the following year. They bring in someone that actually earned the right to coach and run the offense. And Daniel Jones looks like a different guy. The Giants win their first playoff game in 11 years. And the franchise just might have turned the corner.

Meanwhile Jason Garrett goes to the USFL booth, then to the NBC booth. Think about that...he went from coaching Dallas for 10 straight years....to doing absolutely NOTHING for the Giants as their OC for 2 straight years...to out of coaching all together!

Do you think the Giants think coaching does not matter? Do you think the Giants are happy Daboll is running their offense as opposed to Garrett? Do you see what Daboll did for Josh Allen in Buffalo before coming to the Giants?

The Giants took the LAZY route when they hired Garrett after Dallas let him go. They did not give him 10 years to prove his worth like another franchise I know...they got him out of there and hired Daboll and have not looked back. Coaching matters,
Definitely one of the best posts I've read on this site. Great job.

That's not true, the Cowboys want to play anyone put in front of them. You need to stop projecting your own cowardly emotions onto the team.
Who did you talk to about these Cowboy team emotions? Dak? Micah? Or your Michelob bottle?

It's step up and win or go home ...... Champions rise to the occasion
Which Dak will be there? My guess is the same old interception machine. We are toast. 140 million for this?

Playing the Vikings was the easiest "wild-card round" opponent. The giants did what they should have done. The Jones Boys are thinking they will win their wild-card game as well and then go take care of business next week in SF.
That’s delusional thinking. Something Jerry Jones has been doing for the past 30 years.

Not concerned with the team we swept this year
I'm sure y'all said that in 07' too. Look, our season probably ends next week in Philly but hopefully we go down fighting and make em earn it. No surprise we won today as The odds were against Vikes continuing to win so many single score games in one season. They barely beat us 3 weeks ago in a game where we played sloppy football with a fumble, Int and blocked punt. I knew if we played a clean game, could run the ball and contain Jefferson, we'd have a great shot at winning. Win or lose next week, our season has already been a resounding success as it was "yr 1 of our rebuild" and all the experts had us finishing in last with 4-5-6 wins. You guys on the other hand are amongst the favorites to make to the SB, anything less and your season was a failure.

They will be sweeping us in the future. They have a real GM, a real HC, a good QB and a good RB. We have a drunken GM, puppet HC, overpaid QB and RB.
We will be in cap hell in a year or 2.

I keep the pulse of the team by listening to the podcasts produced by DC.com. And I don't drink, thank you but if I did it sure as hell wouldn't be Michelob. I'll repeat, stop projecting your own fears onto the team. They aren't scared to play anyone! Go Cowboys! :flagwave:

Dallas got a 8-9 Tampa Bay with half of their roster in IR. A 45 years old QB that is having his worst season supported by a poor running game.

Make all the excuses you want but if Dallas doesn't win tomorrow on the road then they will never win on the road in the playoffs ever again.
I agree. If they lose today, half the team, all coaches and Dak have to go. Yes I know, Dak can't go for another two years. But bench him despite his salary. I'd take any rookie and rebuild over him.

And if they win tonight, then that's the bare minimum I'd expect from them. Win against San Fran too and I'll celebrate and embrace Dak and the guys.

Yes, being an armchair general is nice sometimes. :D

It's just different playing styles, the Giants do more with less and try to play to their strengths while Dallas does less with more while trying to play the other teams game.

Probably thinking they play in a pretty good division.
