What are we Missing???

What is this team missing???????

You know what I'm going to say.........we're missing what all of our opponents have when they play us, and that's attitude!!

a) It's late in the season.

b) He was deadly accurate his first 2 years.

c) I'm sure the hip surgery had to play a role in this. Maybe he doesn't recover, but at this point, I doubt you can do much better this late in the season.

a) All the more reason

b) Rationalization

c) Excuse

A O-L which put the opposing DL on their rear and push the pile in running plays and do a decent job in pass protection with no whiffing on undersized players and not getting confused on the assignment and let in someone come without being touched.

Romo actually make our OL decent in pass protection but you know they are not that good when we had Brad J there.

Do you realize Jimmy J. or Parcells would have fired Folk weeks ago? Why Wade (I mean Jerry) is hanging on to him is beyond me.

Yep ... there are definitely better kickers out there just waiting for a phone call.

We got major breaks in the KC and Skins games.....

The last TD in the Skins game should not have counted, we had 2 offensive lineman past the line of scrimmage. The ref after the game stated that he did not notice it because he was watching Romo the entire time to make sure he did not step beyond the line of scrimmage.

THAT WAS A MONSTER BREAK RIGHT THERE!!!!!!

It is all about the breaks. Dallas is as good as any team in the NFL and has a legitimate shot at winning the Super Bowl.

Look at the Colts. They're undefeated but easily could have a worse record than Dallas. Last night was a perfect example. Garrad made a terrible throw right to a Colt DB to lose the game. The DB did make a nice play but there was no pressure on Garrad forcing it. It was just a break for the Colts but again, the Colts were able to capitalize on the error so it's not just dumb luck.

Look at Dallas' losses. Each game was realistically within one play, with the possible exception on Green Bay. A dropped pass here or there, a bad call, a missed tackle or one miscommunication between the QB and WR could have resulted in a 13-0 Dallas team.

Dallas needs to catch a few breaks and capitalize when they do instead of missing field goals. It's really that simple.

I think we need to upgrade the talent more than hope to catch breaks. Our offensive line is horrible and we have the worst pair of safeties in the league.

Mental toughness, killer instinct, a coach who knows how to rally the troops and hold players accountible, offensive play calling, and most importantly a good mascot.

I personally think this team is 2 players away from being where we want to be. A dominant defensive player that creates turnovers. Ideally a safety or defensive lineman and on the offensive side of the ball a speedster at WR.

If that WR is Dez Bryant then I agree with you.

We have no offensive speed outside of Felix, who isn't himself. Austin isn't quite the guy we need, although he is still a part of the mix going forward. Roy is improving, but still not the guy we need. Crayton is a JAG. Hurd another JAG. Ogletree an unknown.

The OL needs to step it up just a little bit. Not sure if its coaching or talent/smarts.

We need a better WR opposite Austin. Austin is still growing and will over the next two years.

Another CB to play with Newman and Jenkins. Scandrick may still be that guy but he's not quite there yet.

A play making safety is the number one item. Sensabaugh needs to be the SS.

I'm certain the coaching could be better. I'd love to have Wade as the DC and bring in a new DB coach. I'm not convinced Garrett is the answer. Right now I'm on the other side of the fence concerning him.

Now if I had wishes I'd wish for at least one more guy on the line like Ratliff. I think that's over the top but maybe I'm not greedy enough.

We have a pretty good team. It just needs a little of this and that to get over the hump.

What the hell are we missing that Jerry sees????

The truth of the matter.

It's not a popular notion but, despite the appearance of having an idea of what is happening the truth of the matter is, we don't know ****. We are not at Valley Ranch, we are not in meetings and we're not privy to all the exchanges that occur between GM, coaches and players.

The constant coverage by capitalizing network goons standing in front of Valley Ranch only gives us the illusion that we are and therefore truly think our opinions on the matter are sound.
