Making a few of the sides for tomorrow. Cranberry with jalepeno. Wild mushroom soup (2lbs of great local wild mushrooms - ****ake, oyster, chanterelle). Sweet potato with smoked paprika (that's pimenton for you foodies). Drinking a nice Imperial Red Ale from a great California brewery. Keeping the house nice and warm with a fire in the wood stove.

How do you live in Texas, drink beer at the frequency that you do, and have never tried Shiner Bock? I can't really describe the taste, because no other beer has the same taste. Just try it, you won't be disappointed if you like beer.

went ahead and peeled it so all you have to do is heat whatever you want individually tomorrow.

in the morning:

will put the smoked turkey breast in the oven.

make homemade mashed potatoes

make turkey stove top dressing

bake the rolls

cranberry sauce

pecan and pumpkin pie

then watch the cowboys exact some revenge against the seahawks while drinking mass quantities of michelob ultra.

then...if i'm still awake..

i'll gladly watch the cardinals seal the eagles fate.
