Mash and Cheers are my all time favorites.
Today's shows? American Pickers, Pawn Stars and I used to like 2 1/2 men until Charlie Sheen was booted. I haven't watched it since.

I would leverage season one of Wiseguy against ANY show that has ever aired on television.

The seasons that followed were disappointments in my opinion, though.

Interesting list. I used to love a load of those old shows. One that sprung to mind that wasn't on your list was F Troop. That show had me in stitches.

BTW, one of my fave TV Shows of all time was Yes Prime Minister, an episode called The Key. I never tire of watching it.

You're absolutely right. TV at its finest.

What an amazing first season that was.

I'll tell ya, for comedy, the British seem to have a feeling for that sort of thing.

Some of my favorites there... can't believe nobody's mentioned one of my very favorites, though:

Northern Exposure

And the cartoon of my childhood that still works for, Rocky & Bullwinkle...

The season where Jerry Lewis did a turn as a New York clothier was my favorite, though the season with Kevin Spacey was fine, too... but Jerry was brilliant in that role, quite compelling...
