My main concern is that the Giants might see fit to play their best game against us while we play our worst.

Anyone worried the Giants get up big time for the game to play spoiler? Right now not sure they are 100% dejected and have quit on the season but could be close. If the Cowboys pound the rock and physically dominate them all four quarters they could be done for the season.

However I'm not sure they are ready to pack it in because they have a chance to emotionally rebound against Dallas. Beckham Jr. will be an issue. Their DL could still present a problem. Will Eli regroup after throwing 5 INTs and be more focused this week?

Anyway what are your concerns?

There's plenty of concerns heading into this game. Anyone who's read my posts knows I can provide an entire list of concerns regardless of the opponent. :) This is another one of those games the Cowboys are suppose to win and everyone will be picking them to win. That's reason for concern right there. They can't afford to slip up against a 3 win Giants team whose season is all but in the toilet. The Giants have never been known to quit they just gave SF all they could handle last week on the road. The Giants were in that game until the final minutes despite Eli's 5 int's. I expect the Giants to give the Cowboys all they can handle on Sunday. They've ruined 2 of the Cowboys seasons since 07 and would love nothing better than to help ruin this one. Just 3 weeks ago the Cowboys lost to a 2 win Washington team that hasn't won a game since.

Losing to a 3 win Giants team that's riding a 5 game losing streak would likely send the Cowboys into another Dec swoon. The Cowboys can't allow themselves to start looking ahead to Philly. The season is getting down to crunch time and the Cowboys have to start playing their best football. They're 1-3 after bye weeks the last 4 seasons so they have to be focused and ready to play on Sunday. The Giants don't have much to lose so they'll throw caution to the wind. The Cowboys can't afford to slip up with Philly coming up twice in the next 3 weeks. With Philly reeling after their drubbing by the Packers this is a real opportunity for the Cowboys to build some momentum heading into the Thanksgiving day game and the rest of their schedule.

A repetition of the Commanders' game (this week sounds sooo familiar to the one before that game)

True but in the meantime if Philly want to look past Tenn to Dallas that would be ok with me. lol

Eli usually plays pretty well against Dallas.

I'm always nervous about Romo in the cold and wet conditions. You can often get the feel for how he's going to play by how he performs early in the game.

The referees tend to screw us at least once a year against the G-Men. The refereeing was awful in the first game, so that tends to make me believe that it will be better, but you never know. Honestly, I don't know what it is about the refs when Dallas plays the Giants. Not a problem against other teams.

I would imagine the Giants will key in on Dez after his domination in the first game. Curious to see how the coaching staff reacts to that.

I don't like how we are becoming a predominantly run on first down and throw on 2nd down team. Perhaps they are trying to lighten the load off of Murray, but we need to mix it up more on both downs.

Always tough to sweep your divisional rival.

It's teams like the Commanders and Giants that can screw up your season. Losing to teams that are going nowhere are usually the losses that end up coming back to haunt you. The Cowboys were 7-4 and riding a 4 game winning streak into AZ in 2011 and a loss to a 5 win Cardinals team derailed the Cowboys season. The Cowboys finished out that season 1-4 to miss the playoffs by one game. If you going to be a great team you have to be prepared for teams that have nothing to lose and can throw caution to the wind.

In 2010 the best football the Cowboys played that season was when their season was in the toilet. They beat a very good Peyton Manning led Colts team on the road playing relaxed and loose with nothing to lose. Some of the most worrisome games are vs teams who are playing for next year and are in a position to play spoiler.

After the beating Philly took on Sunday they're in no position to be looking past anyone. Had they beat Green Bay the Tenn game would have "trap game" written all over it. I'm hoping they at least struggle vs Tenn and limp into Dallas.

If Tenn showed anything it is they can bring a decent pass rush, if they can force Sanchez into some bad throws they have a chance.

I think this is the last stand for NY after Dallas they have Jags, Titans, Commanders, Rams and Eagles. Coughlin will have them ready. I do think if Dallas can jump on them early the Giants could very well fold.

That's my concern. If the shoe was on the other foot you would hear about how they just need this one game, at home, before the schedule sets up for a little run. My other concern would be the team potentially looking ahead to the big game coming up four days later.
