What are your concerns facing the Giants?

That's my concern. If the shoe was on the other foot you would hear about how they just need this one game, at home, before the schedule sets up for a little run. My other concern would be the team potentially looking ahead to the big game coming up four days later.

True, it likely is a bit too late for the Giants but 9-7 who knows what could happen. Cowboys need to make sure they are ready and focused on this game, get to 8-3 then worry about the next team ahead of you.

That the score was too close the last time we played. This is a bad team we are playing folks. If we somehow lose this on top of losing the Commanders game something is wrong in Big D.

If Tenn showed anything it is they can bring a decent pass rush, if they can force Sanchez into some bad throws they have a chance.

Yeah, they got after Roethlisberger last night sacking him 5 times. If they can put that kind of pressure on Sanchez it may result in 2 butt fumbles. The key to beating Philly is to stuff their running game and force Sanchez to put the ball up 40 times.

Rashad Jennings didn't play last game. He's a considerable upgrade from Andre Williams. They'll be getting another starter back on the oline - Schwarz returning from short term IR, not sure if Pugh plays, though.

It will be a tough game. Giants games always are, frankly. I don't think it will be due to our team looking ahead or whatever.

That being said if we protect Romo and get our running game going so that NYG wears down in the 4th we should win.

Anyone worried the Giants get up big time for the game to play spoiler? Right now not sure they are 100% dejected and have quit on the season but could be close. If the Cowboys pound the rock and physically dominate them all four quarters they could be done for the season.

However I'm not sure they are ready to pack it in because they have a chance to emotionally rebound against Dallas. Beckham Jr. will be an issue. Their DL could still present a problem. Will Eli regroup after throwing 5 INTs and be more focused this week?

Anyway what are your concerns?

1a . Beckham JR
1b . Murray fumbling
2.? Us
3.? Not them

JG keeping Romo in the game well into the 4th quarter when we are up by 3 scores and getting him injured.

We then have to start Weeden against Philly, Chicago, and Philly again.

true and that is a concern Tenn last night looked poor vs the run, no doubt Philly will be looking to run on this Tenn team. But stranger things have happened. So at least for this upcoming weekend Tenn is my 2nd favorite team. lol

I would also venture that the team has played well after the bye week even though his 1-2 record may not show it on the surface.

The 2 losses were on the road to the Patriots and Ravens. Two close battles versus teams that went to and won the Super Bowl in those respective years. They also won a hard fought game vs the Giants last year in a game the majority of this forum had us losing fwiw.

The team will be ready to play IMO.

6 sacks in the last 2 games, Melton has come on strong, I think as Lawrence gets his game legs he will be more of a factor.

Sure hope so. As you well know, little Eli (and pretty much anyone else) will carve us up if they have time...

This is the NFL. There are no bad teams, just teams with bad records. Look at how a two win Titans team played the Steelers last night, or how the Rams beat Denver Sunday. If Demarco Murray didn't fumble at the Commanders' 8 a few weeks ago, the Cowboys are 8-2.

Whatever concerns I have for the Giants will be doubled earlier next week.

Tennessee is very capable of getting some sacks. My question is, who will stop Casey? That dude is a beast. It wouldn't surprise me if Tennessee made this a close game.

Tenn is playing for next year with a rookie QB who last night looked pretty good. They look like they're about ready to give up on Locker who's shown flashes but hasn't been consistent and he can't stay healthy. The beating Green Bay gave Philly has to have shaken their confidence some so it wouldn't surprise me if Tenn gives them a tough game. If Tenn can get after Sanchez like they did Roethlisberger and force him to have to put the ball up it will lead to turnovers. In the 3 games Sanchez has played for Philly he's had 6 turnovers with 5 fumbles. The Packers game was his only game this season where he had to put the ball up over 40 times and it led to 2 int's and 3 fumbles 2 of which were lost.

The more Sanchez has to throw the more turnovers start coming into play with him. He's a game manager not a QB who can carry a team on his shoulders which is why he flamed out in NY. He's one of those QB's that can play well at times but if too much is put on his shoulders he becomes inconsistent and the turnovers start coming. His career completion percentage is only 55%. If Tenn has issues stopping the run like they did last night vs the Steelers that will work in Sanchez's favor. All he'll have to do is run McCoy and hit Sproles out in space. Ideally you would like to get Phily down and force Sanchez to have to take shots down the field. If you can get pressure on him he'll fold.

At 3-7, their season is done.............virtually no chance to make the playoffs................so all they got is the role of playing spoiler.

As long as we do not turn the ball over, we should win the game......................we are clearly the better team.

Dallas is the better team. As a whole they don't concern me. But Beckham Jr will be tough for our corners to hold down, again.
