What are your expectations now?

I expect a street fight in every game left. The bye concerns me only because I have doubts about JG being up to the task to get the guys ready. We can be honest and say that without JJ hitting the jack pot with Dak, this team is a 6 to 8 win team. With him we could go...all...the...way.

It really is up to Dak and Zeke to keep us in games. The Gmen are not that good IMO but might just light us up with big plays. I can see this being a remake of the Steelers game.

The Bus and Lions should go down hard in Dallas but again the only easy game was yesterday. The Eagles might be out of it by the end of thr season, but they will fight us.

We could be one-and-done in the playoffs but this team is different in many ways. I can see it coming down to Seattle in the NFC title game in Dallas where we SHOULD prevai. The conference game is the risky one IMO.

Either way the team has a bright future with some help on D. Like George Allen said, maybe the future is now.

It's weird. We're playing with house money at this point and I couldn't be happier.

I'd love a sb and think we clearly have a good shot at going the distance so that's what I'm hoping for. This season has already been a gift tho.

The rub is that 11 game win streak and the associated media frenzy has now set it up as anything less than a championship is a failure. Funny how that works. If we're 7-4 and had lost a few hard fought games, we'd likely have an eye toward the future feeling happy, and treating this as our Seahawks year when Russ was a rookie. Clearly a team trending up, but no huge expectations and just putting the league on notice.

Instead we've lost one close game 3 months ago and a team full of overachieving rookies is held to a standard no one in their right minds expected them to even be able to achieve.

Even wins are scrutinized and dissected, so a loss?? Yikes. And against a NFC east team?

Kill me now.

In short, I have no expectations, but have been conditioned over the season to believe sb and will be crushed if not

All in for the win...we have shown week in and week out that we come to win...I expect nothing less from here on out.

I suppose I'll get thrashed, but I always expect to go to the Superbowl. Every dang year. And if we meet any NFC East opponents in the playoff...I want to beat them so badly they have to move cities and change their name. Further, any Superbowl score that doesn't at least meet the minimum threshold of 52-17 in our favor is a disappointment.

Don't let me down Cowboys!

We are #1 in point differential. Unless we have a huge meltdown or major injuries next four weeks, we are going to the SB.

Sitting at 11-1.........nothing short of a Super Bowl appearance. I could live with an NFCC game loss if close and against only Seattle.

If this team ends up at 14-2 and we lose the first playoff game, I would consider that a failure

A repeat of 07 would be worse than a kick to the balls, LOL!!!.............for those that have forgot, in 07 we were the number one seed and after the bye week we played the Giants and lost. That was when Romo and Witten went to Cabo during the bye week in the first round of playoff games.

Getting HFA this year, getting a bye, and then losing at home in the Divisional round yet again would be BRUTAL!

If we don't beat ourselves with turnovers and penalties, then I expect a SB win, because we are the best, most consistent team in the league, we are built for cold weather and we are built to win on the road and in gritty battles.

I won't be disappointed if we don't win the SB, because its been an amazing season, but I do think we are the SB favorites right now.

What cold weather? If we get #1 seed we ain't seeing cold & snow.

We look like the best in the NFC by a mile.

At the very least we should get to the NFC championship game.

1 and done is just not acceptable.

Not according to Seahawk fans, they can't wait to crush us. They are very confident that they can beat us.

No less than 6 SB wins in 5 Years...That is the CZ expectation...

I don't really like setting the bar higher for a playoff season based off of performance (won/loss totals) in the regular season. For one, a good team can lose to another good team at any point, really. All it takes in many cases is a tipped ball or a poor throw or a lost fumble, and that's it. Two, it's more important how a team plays the last quarter of the season than it is how it played overall. If we end up 14-2 but lose to a hot Tampa team in a few weeks and then meet them in the playoffs, the regular season winning streak means little.

Right now, I expect us to play well in the post season. I don't want to see carelessness with the football or stupid execution errors. No dumb penalties. If we do that, I expect we can beat any team in the NFC. But if we do it and lose, I'll be able to live with that, too.

If we do it and win, I'll probably be at least a bit grumpy about it up and until we win a Superbowl playing that way. But that's moot because you can't win a Superbowl playing that way.

You make a great point.

If we are good enough to make it to the SuperBowl, then we are not going to lose 3 of our next 4 games and conversely, if we do lose 3 of our next 4 then we probably weren't that good to begin with.

I know I'm probably in the minority, but for 2007, for example, I didn't consider that season a choke job by Dallas. NY just got unbelievably hot. They beat the Bucs, Cowboys, Packers, and then the undefeated Patriots in a row. And their players said after the fact that we were the toughest game they played in that run. That's slim consolation, but the truth is, the hot teams in December are often the ones that make it all the way.

This year, I'm keeping a close eye on Detroit and Tampa. I was eying WAS, too, but their stumble today cools them off considerably in my book. And I'm hoping we come out in NY with our biggest statement win of the season this week. I do think those manning Colts teams that were always 13-3 or 14-2 ended up challenged late in the season to sustain their edge. That's the last thing I want to have happen in Dallas. We need to start seeing our return games step up....areas of the team nobody was necessarily expecting to contribute all that much suddenly playing above their skill level to keep pace with the offense. That's what happens when teams are really ready to make a run. We're seeing a lot of signs of that happening already. That MIN game was a pretty good example where we basically one it on our ST unit (and theirs misfiring). I want to see more of that against the Giants in a real statement win.

With all of our turbulent seasons, Dallas fans are still learning to trust the Cowboys again because in the back of our minds, we feel like we'll be let down in the worst way at some point... but I actually feel this team can and will win the superbowl.

I'm fully expecting this group of Cowboys to come out of the month of December...grizzled. The black 'n blue month will push the team into a functional and tough playing team.

The last four games will be against solid to strong defenses...and will reap benefits to an improving team. Dez Bryant has elevated his play on field and is blocking more like a demon. That has to rub off upon the receivers...with Jason Witten a tough task master as well. The running game will get tougher, and I just wonder how much more will be on the plate for Dez Elliott.

For me, Scandrick is now prime time for a great end of season run. He is greatly underappreciated presently. Add a strong Scandrick to Brown and Carr, and return Claiborne - this secondary can then handle any quarterback/receiver combination that it encounters. As to safeties, they are an asset and a strong one, in a bend but don't break group. Wilcox, Church, and Jones do it for me at safety. I think they can handle any team.

Anthony Hitchens just played his best game in three seasons. Mix in Lee and Wilson, and the linebackers are active as well as effective.

I loved what Lawrence brought to bear this game against Minnesota. His presence was well felt, with nine pressures in a single game. His stats didn't show, but he was a thorn, for sure.

I like McClain, Collins, and Irving in the middle. I still think that Thornton plays too soft.

My short position, is still one of the defensive ends showing up with regularity...but the defense is solid.

I'm looking for a fourteen point Dallas victory, Sunday night.

yeah Seattle's picking their game up if we lose to them in the championship I'm okay

This team has exceeded my expectations and Dak is like a dream come true, add some defense and just stomp next year.
