Grier is QB2.

Hard to say a guys a scrub at this point in his career. He has great tools but needs to develop. He may very well be QB3 but I imagine he will get a shot in camp at QB2. The question is can he earn it and we will see. I doubt it but he’s cheap and we have time because of his contract

It's far too early for far-reaching expectations to be set in stone. With that in mind, it shouldn't be asking too much for him to do all that's asked of him by the coaches. Like any other young player, he will be monitored closely to ensure his development. If he displays a willingness to work hard and develop his skills, his stature as a player would improve accordingly. Earning a roster spot is the reward to be had.

The guy is a 6th rounder that was just tossed from the team that drafted him. His accuracy is a major issue. Plus the dummies in charge gave $60mm per to the starter. I hope we hear very little from Milton. Given this fanbase I suspect we will be hearing he is the second coming by week 2.

Actually that thought process applies to all jobs in all walks of life. Would you want a surgeon to have deer in the headlights stare at crunch time?

I think Milton will start a game this season, only because I have doubts about Dak staying healthy. I predict Grier will be the #2 but the Cowboys will want to evaluate Milton.
