2. Band of Brothers
3. Roots
4. Lonesome Dove

Have you ever watched LVT's The Kingdom?
Very creepy...

Oh yeah, I have the DVDs. Needless to say it's one of the most successful series in Danish television history. I won't agree with everything Mr. von Trier stands for, but I think his oeuvre speaks for itself. Great artist.

I so very much love Pink Panther and A Shot in the Dark.
I have always loved the Pink Panther but after reading about Peter Sellers lack of a sense of humor, that catapulted it to #1 for me. David Niven said the production people and fellow actors would be cracking up after a Sellers' scene and he would just look at them. A true genius comedic actor.

1-One Flew over the Cuckoos Nest
2-Scent of a Woman
3-My Cousin Vinny
4-As Good as it Gets
5-Rainman (and I hate Tom Cruise)

On the movie 'One Flew over...', you know the scene when they are on the road driving, and they pass a sign that says "Duck Xing"? That is down in Salem, Oregon...not too far from where I lived (late 80s-90s) when I was much younger and clearly remember the sign everytime we passed thru that area. When I saw it in the movie, I was kinda of set back, like wow! Cool.

1. The Outlaw Josey Wales
2. Raiders Of The Lost Ark
3. Saving Private Ryan
4. Jurassic Park
5. The Hangover

5 is tough to do. I had to kind of break it down to Western, Action, War, Sci Fi, and Comedy and take the top off all of those. Man it sure leaves out a lot of good films though.

No 9th gate?
Haven't watched that in years...
I re-read the book constantly though - Le Club Dumas. Great novel.

Speaking of Roman Polanski films... Rosemary's Baby is way up there on my list also, but I already had Chinatown in there.
