I picked up another Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD for 129.00 at Amazon.


These are the best upgrades ive gotten for the pc, and switching from AMD to an Intel CPU was like night and day.

I got 11 nice ties from Jos.A.Bank for 170. Also picked up the Xbox one S with Battlefield 1 from Bestbuy for 250, didn't really need it but was going to buy a 4k bluray player anyway so i decided better to upgrade from the regular Xbox one.

I bought the sony 55inch for 1199 from bestbuy back in august, now it's 899, i snoozed kinda, but i had no choice cause my old TV broke down in august.

a 2tb SSD of any speed is going to be expensive.

i bypassed all the "cheaper" SSD drives. i have a 940gb sandisk in my machine now but i'd LOVE the newer m.2 that will deliver 2500 read / 1500 write performance. those in the 512gb range are still $280. i figure when they come down a bit more i'll get this for my C drive, move the 940 ssd to my D drive and use my (4) 3tb SATA drives for some form of storage.

but i did luck into a 10mm samyang lens for my pentax for $200!

Joe Hill is Stephen King's son. They have done some stories together. Joe has wrote a few books on his own and of the three I have read I liked two a good deal and so so on the other. Hope this newer one, The Fireman, is good.

Wow a 2 TB Samsung SSD runs about 650$ which is more then my i7 and GPU combined.

That sucks, Big Dog. Whenever I buy electronics I always worry about that sort of thing. Just the way it goes sometimes, and like you said, at least the timing was right.

I guess I got the Xbox One S Bundle from Dell (500 GB Battlefield 1 Bundle + Gears of War 4 + Extra Controller for $250). Didn't need it, but figured I would upgrade for the UHD drive since they will be adding bitstreaming audio at some point. Then I can move my other UHD player upstairs at some point. It will also be nice to have an extra controller and better range since my xbox is in the next room from where I sit.

I'll sell my other xbox one and Battlefield 1 on craigslist most likely so the total upgrade cost won't be much.

There really weren't any other deals I was interested in.

Completely forgot it was black friday when I went down to the hardware store to get a new tarp to cover the boat for the winter. Got to the register and found out the deal was half off on any one item so I said hot damn and went back and got the heavier duty tarp for less than what I thought the mid-weight tarp was. Living large friends, living large.

• I also grabbed a 1TB Samsung Evo SSD drive for $250 over at B&H
• Grabbed (2) Roku 1 for $25 each to give as gifts to people who are interested in cutting the cord.

Those are the best aren't they, it is nothing more then highway robbery if you ask me. Plus coming in at Christmas time is a double whammy. Id love to tell em to shove it...............crooks.
