What can save our run defense?

Daniel Jones and Hurts are better passer than Fields. This is the worrying part about our D - we know we are going to see Giants and Eagles twice. When a team has wanted to run the ball against us, they have done it while showing it and there was nothing we could do to stop it.

Not today they weren't. They gouged us up the middle, especially when we were playing the DT package of Galley and Osa.

but the runs to the outside, loosen up the middle IMHO....against Tampa, Philly, etc. we couldn't contain the runs to the outside. then we cheat safties to the side to crash into outside running lanes and the middle is open because LVE isn't good enough....

I'd like to see a breakdown of Chicago's inside and outside runs. When he was in there, I thought Hankins did a good job, but no one guy can do it alone and he can't get outside where the Bears were gaining a lot of yards.

One way to stop those runs is get get penetration along the DL, which Dallas did a few times but when they don't they give up a lot of room.

just a dumb opinion perhaps, but I think we need more speed at LB. LVE has to be benched. or he has to play much closer to the LOS, he plays too far off and he always picks the wrong hole or gets blocked easily. put Cox in at the WLB...he is not good against the run, I get it. but he has the speed to force RB wider and has the speed to seal the corners and force the play inside. then move the safties closer to the LOS for run support. parson should play truly outside LB and force the runs to the inside and not allow the RBs to get to the corners, where right now they hit it and are gaining chunks afterward.

We got what we got! What a stupid comment. If the Rams would have thought that last year, they would have NEVER won the Super Bowl. They picked up a couple players during the season, last year, that helped them win the Super Bowl!
