You either never played sports or weren't very good. Nobody with this kind of willingness to quit when something doesn't go well could succeed.Honestly. What can you do after a loss like that? The cliches are wasted. The concert is over. The paint is faded. The dust has settled. What a shame honestly. The blueprint was there. We knew how to win games. T.O.P, 3rd down conversions, and first downs. Consistently top of the league in those categories. Now we just have no consistency. Just players that have games. And then disappear in big moments. No matter what the name. Prescott. Elliott. Pollard. Diggs. Parsons. Martin. No leadership. The franchise is done. We haven’t had a real MLB on this defense since Rolando McLain. Every other MLB has been soft. Yeah it’s been that long. But yeah we like our guys. Barry church said to many guys in this defense making business decisions. Diggs. Brown. No dogs on this team. Just city boys.
In 1991 there was a game early in the season where Aikman got sacked 11 times. Yes, 11 times. The Eagles destroyed Dallas, the Cowboys had a losing record, and the team looked completely lost. That team went on to an 11-5 record that year.
Now, before you start in, I'm not saying this team has the same talent level, I'm just saying that was a low point where things seemed every bit as hopeless, and probably more so, than they do now. Nobody expects the season to be void of obstacles, and in fact, overcoming obstacles is the entire essence of sports.
