'82 Honda Accord LX hatchback...5-speed.

Still ran like a champ at 206,000+ miles when I sold it to a friend for 500 smackers.

1966 Ford Galaxie 500

Took drivers ed in a Nissan of some sort. I spent a lot of time learning to drive in a 1972 International pickup (not an IH Scout). Worst gas mileage in the world, but it could pull stumps like no other.

1965 Dodge Coronet 440

(don't be fooled by the 440 designation....this car was a slant 6, automatic, 4 door with am only radio, 1 speaker in the middle of the dash.)

It was my grandfather's car and he gave it to my parents when he stopped driving. It was basically my car my first 2 years of driving. I could fit 20 of my best friends in it and still have room for a boom box to play tapes. :D

I learned to drive in a 1979 Ford Fiesta. I got caught by the Addison, Tx police and I cried and they laughed then sent me home. I was only 13 at the time. :laugh2:

I learned to drive on a 1947 International Harvester 3/4 ton flatbed pickup, 4 speed manual, with double clutching. It was painted firetruck red, had a chrome grill, a thick wood bed cut down from a grain box, and an old De Soto's arrow style turn signals mounted on the fenders. It would not get to 60mph no matter what you did with it, but it could pull a house off it's foundation.

Driving most cars seemed easy afterwards.

Shot my first white tailed deer out of the cab of one of those. Maybe not the same year, but it only ran once a year.

...I had to drive behind the combine in this thing.

Everything was exactly the same as this one except the plate. It was Saskatchewan, but the plate was yellow in those days.

Lots of fun driving it as a 12 yr old. 4 on the floor, hot as heck with no AC, push button AM radio with poor reception and pulled over 20,000 lbs.

Couldn't crank the steering wheel fast enough with a steering knob. Good times.

Took my driving test in a 76 Dodge Aspen. Passed in the city with flying colours. After driving that beast for quite a few harvests it was easy driving a car.

A 1977 Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon. It actually had an 8-track player in it (previous owner added it)!

I knew how to drive before I actually got in the driver seat. The first car I drove was a Ford Probe. I don't recall the year, but I was definitely under age and without a license. ;) I learn to drive a manual in my first car which was a 89' Ranger pickup. I learned back behind Miller Brewery in South Ft Worth where people used to drag race at night.

Yeah a real winner. ;)
Actually it was the high schools driver-ed mobile.
I was making the scene with this real looker, when my mom wasn't using it.
Top notch sound system with 8-track player and everything. Exact color:
