It already started by getting rid of Kellen Moore and putting McCarthy in charge of the offense...

Gonna laugh when we are 1-5....and people start pointing fingers....

Chargers are 5-1....and people wonder what happened to the Cowboys?

It's coming people...

Injury to CeeDee Lamb would hurt the most, imo.

Offensive line injuries.

Injury to Parsons or Diggs.
Widleypiddly!
If CeeDee goes down we still have two seasoned WRs, a mni-Deebo in Deuce and a breakout TE in Ferguson.
No, perfumed and bored lad, other positions are more vulnerable.

What could go wrong?

No one needs to ask this. The simplest way to answer this question is by merely looking at the Cowboys past 27 seasons. It's all right there.

Rb depth is my biggest concern regarding player availability. But really this season will come down to mental toughness. They will win enough games, probably win the division. But when the playoffs start vs really good teams will anyone besides Micah show up? Are there enough guys like Micah to change this team mentality from crappy hotboys to lions?

People do realize we have zero depth on offense right now.....correct?

This is about as depleted a team on offense I can recall.

First of all key injuries. Our key OL who are njury prone could definitely impact our season. It’s not a matter of if with Tyron but when. Steele and Martin both have injury history as well. Any combinations there could cause havoc to our offense.

Next concern is our running game . We don’t know if Pollard can carry the load for 17 games. And or if we have suitable support in the event he’s isn’t able to carry the load. We actually look somewhat similar to 2015 when we had RB by Committee.

TE is also a concern with no one who’s started in the NFL. Ferguson looks capable of contributing but that doesn’t necessarily translate to a full time starting role . We have potential backups who could add support but I’d argue it’s a position with more questions or concerns than answers and solidity until further notice .

Our strength on offense appears to be our receiving corps. The additions we made along with our returning starting WR’s, as long as we can protect our QB establish any kind of running game , assuming our QB can stay healthy appears to be more than capable . And it might have to carry the offense in the event our other concerns falling short or short handed .

Defensively not as many injury concerns assuming Parsons can stay healthy. The additions we made in draft at. DT and in FA in secondary this could be our best defense in decades . Much cause for excitement defensively. It could be why we finally take the next step. But we’ll still need the balance offensively which is my greater concern.
So who started for Schultz when he went down? I'm 95% sure they're still in the roster

He won't be asked too. RBBC.
Yes he will. Hes getting 10 mil and is our best back by a mile. He will be on the field for 70% of the snaps. Just like Zeke was in the past.

Can he handle that? TBD. I think he can. Jones and Davis can fill in that 30%.

This season, as it goes with any season, comes down to the QB. Can Dak improve. Become more consistent. Lessen the mistakes.

This is a passing league. We have arguably the best WR trio in the league. Scheme them open, get them the ball and let them do their thing.

TEs will grow and get better. Fergie should be fine replacing Shultz. Schoon, if healthy will contribute.

Defense could be dominant this year.

This is a legit super bowl contending team!
