Will Leary and Bern return in time for Miami?

I don't know the answer to your question, and I know it's early in training camp so it's no time to panic, but I don't really care about the whole "pet cat" notion anymore. As far as I'm concerned, no one on the OL has earned anything. Sure, Smith and Frederick are 1st rounders so people want to give them a shot. But everyone else is on a short leash. People have high hopes for Leary this year, but if he isn't healthy and someone like Arkin is, I have no problem going with Arkin at guard. We're at the point where everyone is on thin ice, so whoever is healthy will get a chance to prove themselves. Right now, as early as it is in training camp, it looks like Kowalski and Arkin are in the driver's seat.

Arkin looked decent in the scrimmage. He even did Ok against Hatcher who was blowing up most of the other OLinemen.

The best thing about Arkin is that he has stayed healthy.
