What did last nights game remind you of?

Let's see. A team roaring off to an impressive start, then playing conservatively (not to lose instead of playing to win), and then falling apart at the end and giving the game away.

Seems just like last 3 years of Cowboy football to me.

Did you hear Denny Green's press conference? That's the attitude I like in a coach (not saying Green is better than Parcells). But Green was passionate, he knew his team had it won and they let it get away. I've heard Parcells press conferences where he blamed the players, lack of excution, everything to deflect the fact that he has a responsibility to the team as well.

I'd like to see somebody seem like they care.

I think they played pretty conservative early on, actually. At the end they were taking chances. Bears got a several lucky breaks (fumble, returned TD, missed FG), that's all.

To me it was nothing like a Cowboys game. Parcels would have done a better job at time management, running the clock out. To me Denny Green is somewhat of a joke, you have to learn to be successfull running the ball.

By conservative play, I think they're referring to when they had to settle for field goals in the first half. Instead of going for the kill, they gave it to Edge on a toss on 3rd and 5.

They also threw the ball several times when they still had the lead and the clock was down to around four minutes...you don't see BP do that very often, if ever.

That's the impressive footnote that will get swept under the carpet.

One of the worst individual QB performances this season (or any, really) will be forgotten because they happened to win. And to think, Grossman has actually been getting some MVP talk earlier in the season.

I don't believe the completely idiotic 1985 Bears comparisons, but you cannot deny that defense played with heart and virtually willed themselves back into the game. Not many defenses can do that.

Huh? Grossman was 14-37 for 148 yards and 4 interceptions. The Cardinals' pass defense may be a weakness, but it sure didn't show up as one last night. Did you mean the Bears?
