What do we do with Dak going forward?

That tweet is comical. He was clearly hurt in this game, the Pats game was in the rain and the other two games were the two where the entire team basically quit.

Add those four into the others and he is still top five in almost every passing category.

yup in garbage time .

Daktrads for the loss !

He was fine last week until he got hurt, the injury happened in that game.

The two games before the Rams games were the debacles with the Bills and Bears where the whole team played by doggy doo. The fifth game was in the cold and rain in Boston, not many guys put up good stats in that weather. In the same game Tom Brady was 17-37 with zero TDs.

Translation : Dak can't throw in the rain or when its cold . lmao

That's completely false. From 2016 - 2018 Dak had more game winning drives than any QB in football. This year has been the death of a thousand cuts but Dak was on the edge of MVP discussion for the first half of the season no matter how yesterday's game went.

How heavy are Daks' bags ?

So he "never brings the team back" except for doing it more than anyone his first three years in the league.

And now "never" means "well, not yesterday because I'm still really sore".

Got it.

Take out 2016 and he 1-8 ?

clown

2016 when Dak was clearly playing better than Wentz:
https://247sports.com/nfl/philadelp...by-NFL-executives-over-Dak-Prescott-49059057/

Wentz has only gotten better and Dak has regressed.

partway through 2017:

just before this season:

And since then, Dak has led his team to a losing record, Carson has improved his turnover rate, has beaten legit playoff teams while having XFL receivers, and has the division in hand.

we see the same article from NFL top brass every year, and we’ll see it again in 2020. They prefer Wentz.

I see you've gotten over the Dolphins loss. And only in 3 weeks. Good on you.

There is just no way you can pay this guy.

I don't care what his market value is.. I say let him go play in the market and if some team is dumb enough to pay him 35 million then let them.

Just because these other teams made stupid deals doesn't mean the Cowboys have to..

I like Dak... I think he's a good solid player.. But he just runs the offense and doesn't elevate anyone as a player.

Am I wrong or did we have 3 road games where we didn't score a Touchdown this year? Saints, Patriots, and Eagles yesterday..?

Franchise and let the new staff decide. I know its a long shot, but Im curious if Luck is healthy now?

I think more of the same. It’s the red zone issues and overthrowing open guys like Austin or behind them etc...it’s too much of that. I really don’t see him cleaning that up if it’s still this big a problem for him. So,with that said...go ahead and blow the team up for all I care. I’m not interested in doing this 2017 offense again next season, and that’s what will continually be a issue if your clock is off and you struggle in red zones.

Dak is a serviceable NFL QB. One day he could be considered "good".

So in that light, if he wants crazy top 3 money, show him the door.

Or if he won't back off to a reasonable number, just franchise him for a year and go after Jake Fromm in the draft.

Or don't franchise him. And still go get Jake.

Either way ok with me.

In other words, our current offer is still on the table........

5 Stages of Grief. (Where Jerry and Stephen are right now) Stage 1: Denial.

Again, if they were so high on him, they’d pay him whatever he wanted. They clearly aren’t as high on him as they say they are.

I can get with this. Draft some competition for a change (which we didn't do for #9 either and should have), See if a new coach can get the very best from Dakota, but if not we at least have a plan B. Win-win?

This is the problem with this organization: If Plan A don't work, keep doing it until it works. Seems like there is no Plan B.

I am still on the fence with Fromm. Georgia's offense is not as explosive as last year's. I don't know if injuries played a role, but their D has kept them in games.

Jake Fromm?

Holy smokes you’ve got to be kidding me?

Jake ****** Fromm??

He wasn’t even good enough to come out early this year even though he has started for 3 years already

I remain on the fence with him. Just responded to a poster. I see a team taking a chance with him in the late rounds.

The story doesn't hit with the audience unless there's a fall before the rise.
As Martin Scorsese says........."Where's the Drama?" Still not over. All that "Drama".

All the best against the Giants. Didn't you need OT to beat them at home? Hmmmmm.

I understand the national narrative on him. But he does play for championships. He knows what it takes to get there. Georgia just can't seem to put all the pieces together at the same time to get over the hump.

Fromm is going to be very, very good. Any team would be lucky to get him. You'll see.
