What do we think about Brett Hundley? Worth a late first-round pick? Are we going to have a better draft option in the next year or two?

It looks like after this year, there's going to be a general slide in quarterback quality over the next couple of years. Is that accurate?

hopefully that he sucks because that's what I think. I wouldn't dream of drafting him until the way late rounds.
He was just thoroughly unimpressive every time I watched him play. Honestly, I even had a hard time seeing him as a NFL QB

Drafting a QB to sit on the bench and not help this team now woukd be a mistake. If hundley had to start he wouldn't take this team to the SB this year.

Yeah GB drafted Rodgers to sit behind Favre but that didn't help Favre win a SB. That's the 1 time it finally paid off.

This team needs help now. I'm all for BPA but only where that player can start day 1. Dallas has stated several times 1st round picks should start.

I never understood the love for Hundley at all, and I certainly don't now.

He's a 2nd/3rd round talent. No where near ready to play, but there's no doubt he has some of the tools necessary to be successful in the nfl. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't bet on him to do anything in the nfl, but if I were a qb needy team and it was mariota top 5 or Hundley in the 2nd I'm taking Hundley.

I think I might have watched Hundley more than anyone here. The deal with Hundley really comes down to the offensive line. Not making excuses for him but this season was his only season as a starter that he had a decent o-line. That said, no way he goes in the 1st round. I could see him going mid second round depending that he has a good pro day. I think in college we have seen the worst from him and not his best. In years past he wasn't gong through any reads because he had to make sure that his head wasn't going to get ripped off. Out of all the teams out there the last place I want to see him go to is the Eagles. I think Brett will turn into a fine QB in the right system.

I didn't watch him a ton, but it always seemed to me like he abandoned his reads way too quickly worrying about getting hit. Granted, that stems from not trusting your OL...but if that's happening in the college game I don't see how all of a sudden it isn't going to be an issue in the pros.

In general, I just don't think Hundley plays with any feel for the game. He certainly has the tools and athletic ability, but everything just seems to slow from him.

Saved me a post.

I really don't want a scrambling QB. I'll take a pocket passer 101 times out of 100 when drafting a QB. I'm just not a fan of drafting athletic QB's who "have all the tools" to be a good NFL QB.

If history has taught us anything, it's that scrambling QB's may be fun to watch, but pocket passers win Super Bowls. Wait until next year to draft the next franchise QB. Give Vaughan this year to show us what he's got.

He is a good athlete playing QB,he will not go through his progressions at all and will look to run if his first read is not open.this guy may turn out ok but he is a 3rd rder at best.

Please don't pick him. I am a UCLA fan and the guy has no pocket presence which is something you can't teach. He is the most sacked QB in the NCAA over the past three years.

Let someone else deal with him.

Only watched him in 2 games and I thought he was inaccurate and that's my automatic no when discussing QB's...I remember that was the knock on Brady Quinn and people acted like it wasn't a big deal... The windows in the NFL are small you can't be inaccurate.

Out her in Illinois I have always liked UCLA football for some reason. I was hoping you guys would take the Pac-12 this year. I was ready to jump on your bandwagon!! Would you compare Hundley to Kaepernick??

Wow. A lot of hate for the guy. I think he ends up being the best of the class this year. He does need a year or two on the bench learning the game, but he was all that UCLA team had.

Kinda funny since the most recent Super Bowl was won by a "scrambling" QB.
