I'm not that scared.
While I'll acknowledge Pacman still looks a bit 'rusty', I don't recall him getting picked on or screwing up other than that pass interference in the end zone. And while that was a big misstake, I liked the fact that he stopped Edwards from catching the easy TD anyway and made Cleveland earn it.
He also was a step short of taking one to the house in that game.
I think that's the 'feast or famine' type of play that he brings to the table. And as he gets more comfortable, I think we'll be 'feasting' more.
yeah. Rust could be it. Either way, you cant protect two corners. I think if henry and jones are the corners and you play man, I think you might be making it too easy for mcnabb.
If mcnabb sees man coverage from pacman before the snap and he has time he is going to throw deep everytime. Just my opinion, but Pacman has not been tested yet. If the eagles go deep on their opening drive and get a flag or a big play on pacman I think they will get in his head and it could lead to a long night.
at least if I am reid and company that is what I do. They have always tried deep balls on henry. I think he is smart enough to handle himself. You can run right past him but I think he will be backed up off the line. but if I am the eagles I am going to go after pacman, the cowboys must know that and it has to be the reason behind the uncertainty of newmans status this week.
I know if the first time the eagles get the ball they attack pacman it could be the biggest factor in the game. If he lives up to the challenge they will have to adjust, if he doesnt we will. And again I dont think you can help both corners.
I hope we pound the hell out of them up front.
