I hear you about Bama players. So is there someone coming out in the draft who might fit that description? Maybe the Reynolds kid from Stanford, or the Bailey kid from USC?
I like Bailey for a few reasons. One he sees the play coming and knows where to be. Another is which I think is the most important, he played under Kiffin in the system and was excellent in it. He played WOLB and was great there and then the next year he moved back to safety. I would really rather have Bailey over any other safety in this draft but only late 2nd. This draft class is not that good this year. Bailey knows the tampa 2 and was Kiffin's favorite player and also knows the WOLB position if we ever need him for that or if he doesn't work out at safety.
Not a fan of Reynolds. Not a sure tackler and jumps a lot fo routes to early.
Two other safeties I like is FSU Terrence Brook, and Louisville Calvin Pryor. These would be two I would look at in the 3rd.
To bad we don't have the money to spend this offseason, I would love TJ Ward or Byrd.
