Marginal player.

I remember somebody saying a couple of months ago "thank God we locked him up". Really? This is how far we've fallen? We're thanking God for more years of Barry Church?

As mentioned above, hardly our biggest problem at this point. But he's not a player you ink in for the following season.

Poor mans Roy Williams, good tackler and in the box safety but his coverage skills seem to be lacking to put it mildly

Right, just think how bad Chancellor would look if he were asked to take on Earl Thomas' duties for the Seahawks defense.

and if he had a make shift DL like we have. We nned a dominate Dline before we need another safety.

I hear you about Bama players. So is there someone coming out in the draft who might fit that description? Maybe the Reynolds kid from Stanford, or the Bailey kid from USC?

I like Bailey for a few reasons. One he sees the play coming and knows where to be. Another is which I think is the most important, he played under Kiffin in the system and was excellent in it. He played WOLB and was great there and then the next year he moved back to safety. I would really rather have Bailey over any other safety in this draft but only late 2nd. This draft class is not that good this year. Bailey knows the tampa 2 and was Kiffin's favorite player and also knows the WOLB position if we ever need him for that or if he doesn't work out at safety.

Not a fan of Reynolds. Not a sure tackler and jumps a lot fo routes to early.

Two other safeties I like is FSU Terrence Brook, and Louisville Calvin Pryor. These would be two I would look at in the 3rd.

To bad we don't have the money to spend this offseason, I would love TJ Ward or Byrd.

We need decent pressure to see for sure. We had that early on. Otherwise you need tape to see these guys well. We only get one look at the backs via NFL.com which isn't bad. But we don't know what calls they should have made and more. My eyeball says he's decent in the box and marginal deep. I'm not sure my opinion means much at all though.
