What do you think Prescott's stats would look like if he started 16 games this year?

Ill guess about 3,400 yards. 20 TDs 12 INTs. 62% and about 7.5 per attempt

Conservative offense. He will make alot of safe plays, but he will take some chances as the present themselves.

Think I would wait and see a couple of real games before I would want to attempt any predictions myself

That would seem about right I would probably throw in 200-300 rushing yards and maybe 3 TDs

Bob Griffin the Turd managed 3200 his rookie running a paint by numbers read option offense. Dak if he has some thing Bob did not have, a seasoned Morris, Witten, Dez, and that Oline to lean on. And as much as some will admit JG he know what is like to be in situation as a back up and being thrusted into the spotlight on a team expected to do a lot.

3,310, 64%, 28td, 12int, 12-4 record

Little bit better than Wilson's stats. May be short changing him a bit, the talent around Dak is light years better than what Wilson had.. Outside of lynch

If things fell into place(avoid the cards) shot at the SB

Let's look at the TD this way:
Bryant - high end 15 low end 12
Witten - 6
Beasley - 6
Williams - 7(that would've been one too many)
Butler - 3 or 4
#87 1 or 2
Esco(he still with us) 1 or 2

Maybe 32-38 TD passes

Greatest show in Texas

#The twins and big uncle Dez!

Wouldn't be a bad rookie year
Not sure it'd happen, but if it did, with our defense, we're talking 7-9

Except that little thing called a defense.

That Seattle defense was light years better and was by far the reason they won most their games.
Dak would not have that low pressure priveledge, and even those numbers wouldn't come close to getting us to 12-4.

I guess this guy has never heard of a running game.

Come on.
Without a run game and with our defense and those QB stas, we are talking 4-12. Add in the run game but still the crap defense and we're maybe 7-9...which is huge.

You're totally overlooking a totally dominant Seattle defense.

See Tampa Bay from last year but with a better run game and slightly worse pass stats...they were 6-10.

Now maybe those QB stats are low.
That would change things some

You are making a mistake in automatically assuming our defense is going to be terrible.

Romo 2014 numbers: 3,705, 70.0, 34td, 9int

Dak's numbers: 3,310, 28td, 12int, 64%

And what type numbers did you expect to put up? Or did you not expect to compete for the playoffs with him? I wouldn't expect Romo to match that season even if he were healthy. Certainly not the completion percentage and so few int.

I hear ya.

But those are Romo's 15 game numbers
And you have Dak throwing 8 more TDs than I was going with from the OP. That's a pretty huge upgrade. Most NFL games are under 1TD, so that could add several wins if the turnovers stay the same.

I do agree the defense could be better. Get an early lead with ground and pound and the turnovers should improve

Why not? Virtually everything about the offense has improved or maintained.
