What do you think Prescott's stats would look like if he started 16 games this year?

The stats are one thing- I would say 3500 yards with about 23 touchdowns. Probably 15 to 16 interceptions.

I would add in 5 to 6 rushing touchdowns and about 500 yards on the ground (I feel like he would have a game or two with 150 yards rushing)

But the main thing is the plays when the game is on the line. In 2014, Romo made every single big play all season long; I don't think a rookie has that type of clutch factor regardless of how good he looks in preseason.

The Seattle play to Terrance Williams is still the most epic of that season

The thing is, he wouldn't need to pass as much. Also, while I trust the O-line (mostly), what would benefit Dak a lot is if the receivers not only ran good routes, but shorter routes at times. These long developing plays are only going to give defenses time to get at Dak. I'd prefer for him to sling it less and let the RB's carry the ball a lot more. Once he gets more practice with recognizing defensive shiftings and going through his reads, he can open things up more.

I'm not even going to begin to predict 16 games. Romo will be back an in charge after 6-10 anyway. :D

Looking at things from the other side of the fence for an outside perspective for you guys.. Assuming he starts 16 games, I would think somewhere in the neighborhood of 3000 yards, 15-20 td's and 15-20 ints.
with somewhere around 55-60% completion rating. I'd throw in 5 rushing td's though, and probably 300-400 yards on the ground.

Griffin was around the same with more rushing td's and yards, and less int's, but he was a better athlete than Prescott is, (too bad the space between his ears was full of stuffing) and had the r/o crutch to lean on. You guys will be as good or better running the ball than Morris was that year (1600 yards) so Prescott shouldn't have to throw 40 times a game.

personally I think he's looked pretty good thus far, and will be interested to see how he fares. I don't think he's RW 2.0 or anything like that. He may develop into that given time, but I think you guys are in for some struggles with a rookie qb and that defense.. we've been there and know just how bad it sucks. Even with wonder griffin 1.0, and a rookie runner and a strong rushing attack in 2012, our defense was weak (like yours) and we were still sitting at 3-6 at the bye.. food for thought.

Ill guess about 3,400 yards. 20 TDs 12 INTs. 62% and about 7.5 per attempt

Conservative offense. He will make alot of safe plays, but he will take some chances as the present themselves.

I guess we will find out. What he has faced up to this point as been fairly easy but things are about to get hard as teams go in with game plans to attack any weakness they may see in him. Dak will have to learn quickly that he can't shy away after making a mistake and he will make mistakes but you have to shake it off and go right back out there not afraid of making mistakes. He will have some very good weapons to work with so there is no need in thinking he has to carry the team.

Not going to predict his numbers but I believe he can have success if he plays within himself and not try to do more.

Hopefully he will have numbers like Aikman did in his career plus some rushing yards. That means 200-250 passing on less than 30 attempts and the TD's and Int. you put up there. If he does that and we run the ball well we will win a lot of games.

I really only care about 1 stat (Win/Loss); although, INTs will be a key factor.
