and what if they reject that offer???
2 reports have it around 35m and 110m GTD. Fish reported the offer on the table is 35m and north of 106m GTD. Clarence Hill reported from Dak camp it was north of 34m but not 35m and it matched the 110m GTD Goff got. Both said it was the years. SO that says Dak is fine with it on a 4yr deal, but Cowboys want that on a 5yr deal. So my 115m GTD isnt even necessary.
If the both are right, then the Cowboys should have done gave him the 4yr deal. 35m is market, yes it is market, and the 110 GTD is actually under market. In this years cap, Goffs contract would be 140m(35m) and 115m GTD. On a 5yr deal the GTD would have to be at least ~125m and that is probably a low number and probably closer to 130m GTD. If they want that extra year of player control at a cost efficient price, they are going to have to pay for it.
