What do you want from Jerry Jones?

I think anyone who's not "a Jerry guy" wants the same thing from him, and I don't think I even need to say it.
 
Don’t restructure Bland and Ferguson. I don’t want the team to feel like keeping them when they have an out simply because they were restructured and would leave a lot of dead money

Only restructure Quennin if he will settle for a one year extension, two at most and don’t put him in that $30m+ category. His freed up money can be used for a free agent that is cut by another team or just held for a rainy day.

Beyond that, I don’t want them to do anything except prepare for the draft

The Jones fed the lies that things would be different and they would “bust the budget” this year. Other teams added above average players and got significantly better during the last two weeks. Only thing he did to get better was at Safety. But NOTHING close to “BTB”.

Jerry traded Clowney, Solomon Thomas, and OSA for Gary and a 3rd. Then added a Jag NT. We are worse on the D-Line than we were four months ago.

Jerry didn’t get a LB. They had the worst group in the history of the league, and he didn’t get one guy. I don’t want him to lose out to six teams when he’s trying to get a player. It proves he’s no “willing to write a check to win”

He’s playing games with Aubrey. We wonder why when guys “go with their gut” they don’t choose Dallas. This is why. He has to prove he’s the boss. It’s Old school and one of the reasons for the 30 year drought. In the last couple years we had guys who were the best at what they do happy in the locker room. Jerry pisses on them because he’s a a “DB” rich guy.

Don't understand the hate here. I love Jerry, he made the Cowboys what they are and I just want him to keep doing a good job.

We want him to sell out. Go all in. NOT BS the fans. Stop using the media to do his dirty work.

I would like to see Ol Jerry change gears and get out of turtle mode, make quicker decisions on contract negotiations. Figure out who needs to go and who needs to stay on the roster, example Steel at left tackle and safety Hooker have declined, but Ol Jerry keeps hanging on to these players too damn long. This kind of incompetence has and still is, killing this organization. Dallas will lose football games they need to win next season, because these players are no longer top players and should be out of the league. Ol Jerry hangs on to players that are way past their prime playing years, Ol Jerry can't see the forest for the trees here, and he never does this is Ol Jerry's biggest problem as a GM, he just does not learn, he just can't see when players are done. You can sign the best free agents, you can ace the draft, but it is the players that you keep, that can't play anymore that keeps this team from making the playoffs year after year. If Steel is this teams right tackle again this year Dak will continue to run for his life and not have time to make winning plays. As for Hooker he is slow of foot and can't catch an interception if his life depended on it. Only hope Dallas has is, these two get beat out by a better player. Maybe someone else inside the organization can see this and make these crucial team killing decisions. Ol Jerry is flat out blind seeing players that have regressed.

The jury is still out on James he has plenty of speed, don't know how good his instincts are, however. The presence of the great and powerful coaching ability of Eberflus teaching these young players last season probably had a major factor as well, on these young players ability to play the game, and see things clearly. Without Eberflus these players may be all world type players this year and blow our minds.

Good Post, a reaction got these defensive tackles, but Ol Jerry had to fail with Parsons for this to happen, all Jerry knows how to do is react after yet another gaff. Right now, his annual gaff is keeping Steel at right tackle and Hooker at safety. These players are done Ol Jerry just can't see it. Dallas will miss the playoffs if Steel and Hooker both get to start for this football team.
 
Focus on LB’s. But that will be the draft.

There is not much more they can do right now except fill out the roster with some back ups and depth.

They brought in some starters and replacements in some areas.
All focused on the defense as it should have been.

Now work on Aubrey and Pickens contracts. But keep it out of the media.

Divestment and expatriation would be a good start.
 
This has been another depressing offseason honestly.

Big promises and still we comprised. For them to say forget Crosby we got Gary is just another slap in the face.

Pass rush, CB and linebacker are still extreme holes and needs. We haven’t really addressed anything

There's nothing he can do to put us over the top this year. That's what years of ignoring FA, giving out bad to mind-bendingly dumb contracts, and hiring comfortable coaches gives you.
