You would think that if you are buying at this point in the seasons, that, that move is supposed to fix whatever was wrong with the team at this point. Wonder if Jerrah accomplished his mission, now that the cowboys are 'fixed'.

If they change the defense some of these guys can fit in a 3-4 or they can maneuver some things around, I don't know how I feel but I understand this guy is big and Logan we get to see him for eight games, he's low price, if next to overshown he shows improvement we have less needs going into next offseason, I don't have a problem with it people don't like it that we're making some moves it's just not the moves they want so it'll never be right..

This is how the draft is in free agency nothing Jerry does or doesn't do will be 100 percent right because there'll always be that crowd that doesn't like it and they'll complain all day every day but they use they say Jerry doesn't try isn't this trying they already tried to inquire about Crosby Hendrickson and Garrett and if you notice they're still all on their teams because their teams do not want to trade them..

I'm just look at this as an 8 game experiment we're getting some of our other players back we bring in a couple other players hell I think they should go get Simmons the free agent that used to be with Denver and Atlanta he's out there on free agency we if we want to make a move of safety too isn't this all up the gut Logan, Quinnen Williams, and you bring in someone like Simmons, I mean isn't that trying to help I mean we're not going to save this season but at least it's doing something versus nothing remember I like our guys how is it whenever they go outside and get other guys all of a sudden now we don't like their guys this place will never be happy..

It is not just the moves Jerry makes or does not make, it is also his very poor timing of making such moves.

I was happy with trading Parsons. Timing was unbelievably stupid. It was not a move he wanted to make, but felt forced to make.

The Williams trade may very will end up being a good trade, but once again the timing is stupid. We have just about a 0% chance of making the playoffs, even with this trade. However this trade may be good enough to result in us dropping front the 8th overall pick to the 16th overall pick.

Last year with Dak out for the season, and after trading for Trance, we had a great opportunity, to have a very high draft pick. However GM Jethro wanted to maximize his profits over building a winning team in the future.

This trade feels like the same thing. He is just trying to hang out at the rim as long as he can this year.

If we were 5-3-1, instead of 3-5-1, this trade would be a hell of a lot more exciting.

For comparison:
  • Crosby snap count - 5997 in 7 years.
  • Hendrickson snap count - 4578 in 9 years.

As long as he is motivated to play in the NFL, I would give up a second in a heartbeat as long as we resign.

Why are you still talking about things that are not even possible both teams said they're off limits for anything less than a 1 That hasn't changed they don't want to trade them that's obvious none of them have been on the trade block neither is Miles Garrett you guys are all living your heads in a cloud the deals that Jerry's making today are the ones that actually are available but.

You want proof talk to me in an hour and when they all are on the teams they were on to begin with you'll know that they were never going to be traded so don't blame Jerry for not getting them he inquired about them he tried they weren't available and especially not for a good price they want a minimum number one for Hendrickson...

I truly don't believe our problem is on the edge our edge look at yesterday they did pretty good they had 5 sacks in the Jets game what they need is a better scheme better collapse in the middle better linebackers better safeties we need a lot of things but I think we can get another pass rusher in the draft but right now I think our bigger needs were elsewhere then edge rusher I get it it don't appear that way but there are bigger problems pressure last night they couldn't cover it that's the problem Those guys were 20 yards downfield open in one second there was no coverage whatsoever....
 
You guys saying you wouldn't trade for Hendrickson Would you have given up what the Cowboys gave up for Quinn and Williams would you have rather had Hendrickson? It might have taken less just A 1 and they could have thrown Sam Williams , in Would you rather have Hendrickson for that ,or Quinnen Williams for what the Cowboys gave up for him?

I mean somebody all say Hendrickson's long in the tooth and older but in my opinion, I think we're going to be fine on edge they looked a lot better last night they've been looking better they've gotten a lot more pressures we can get one of those in the draft was it better they addressed linebacker and interior D line?

I'm not sure who the odd man out is or are they gonna keep Osa Clark and Williams maybe restructure Osa and Clark make it fit better is that what this Team has finally got something in the middle?

Their fan boards say they think he can be had for a 2nd. He is and was never getting a first. They tried for a first in the off season and couldn’t get one. Do you think someone is giving them one now with half a season left, an injured hip, and a new contract required? Do you think they are going to re-sign him when they wouldn’t last off season?

Likely options are trade, let walk in the offseason for a 3rd round comp pick in ‘27, or get a higher value now.

And I don’t need proof from you, you condescending know it all. You are insufferable.

I don't these trades are going to do with the Amari Cooper trade did in 2018 but it can at least give us a snapshot of next year by you seeing what these guys can do next to some of the other guys coming off IR it kind of helps gives you a little bit of an idea how they play together how it might look next year.

I'm not delusional here I don't think this is going to elevate this team on a long win streak There's a bigger problems now it's on offense with all the fumbles and the drop balls You know the penalties that the offensive line is not blocking well so I have no delusions here but I would love to see improvement every game until the end of the year and give us a little bit of hope for next year It's better than picking these guys up in the offseason next year and and then not knowing what we're getting we get to give a little bit of a snapshot..

You are on ignoring occasionally it opens up all of them and I happen to see him and I make the mistake I won't make that mistake too often...:muttley:

I'm telling you even up to yesterday Cincinnati told suitors who were asking about him they still want to won and he's still there have you seen any trades for him no because they're asking for one means they don't want to let go of him Crosby Hendrickson Miles Garrett We're never gonna be traded because their teams didn't really wanna let them go unless somebody really opened up the brinks truck...

We will see is there like another hour I have not heard of anyone of these guys on any other teams at least Jerry tried he literally looked into every one of these guys and now I believe it but the moves he's making today I believe he wanted to get one of those guys..

So now we got what we got and we get to see a little snapshot of next year What do you mean you don't need to see proof for me i'm just telling you what my eyes are seeing and reading they all have not been moved for good reason up until yesterday Cincinnati told everyone it would take a 1 and it doesn't seem like it's changed just yet but we have one more hour and we'll find out...

You’re right…what teams put out in public is always what they get in return. Teams never start high and negotiate down. I’m sure the asking price from day 1 for Quinnen Williams was a ‘26 2nd and ‘27 1st.

I should have known you were more in the loop with Cincy than the fans on their message boards. If he isn’t traded, fine. If we want him, we can try in the offseason and they can get a ‘27 3rd round comp pick.

Lastly, I don’t know where you get off asking me why I am still talking about something. You don’t run the boards and it’s none of your business what I choose to talk about. You are a condescending #$@ who acts like a know-it-all on every post and I would prefer you put me back on ignore.
