Something that brings about toughness to its athletes and most arent from here.I dont understand it.Dallas wasnt like this in the 90s.They were a tough team.

Barber is soft? Oh, right, because he couldn't play on his toe. It's just a toe. Right.

I think the problem with the Cowboys is that its fans are too fickle and angry-mob like and we (collectively) deserve the nonsense that seems to find us.

No they are soft. Face it. Our team is soft. Soft and does not care. Maybe Dallas' golf team is good. Something with less intestinal fortitude.

Didn't the Mavericks suck in the 90's?

As for these bumbling idiot players both teams acquire, blame Jerra and Marky-Mark.

Just wait... You haven't even seen the posts from the electricians and marble-layers talking about how much tougher they are than Romo and Barber...

Sorry, this whole "soft" idea is just stupid.

Go tell that to Jason Witten.

This team is stupid. But soft? I don't see it.

Yeah, and it all started when Stephen Jackson of the Rams called the cowboys "soft". But what does he know? He's just a running-back in the NFL.

Marc Colombo

Demarcus Ware

Leonard Davis

Jason Witten

TO

Jay Ratliff

Bradie James

Zach Thomas

Greg Ellis

Ken Hamlin

Marion Barber

Tony Romo

Patrick Crayton

Thats just off the top of my head. Their are some others that are to be determined.

And do you guys consider Terrence Newman soft or just injured because that guy will lay the wood and when he is actually on the field there is really nothing soft about him.

I don't think the Cowboys are "soft" at all.

However, that WAS the buzz-word leading up to the Steeler game. It was a big story line leading up to that game. Dallas lost the game, but stayed right with what many consider one of the "toughest" teams in the NFL. So if that matters, that should've settled it.

I think, one of the big problems has to do with a team full of supposed play-makers, individual "stars", etc............I think a lot of guys are just waiting for someone else to make a play. It's certainly possible in a big way that guys are going at 4/5 speed or taking plays off, thinking "no problem, the other guy will do something big". If that's the case, it could be interpreted that the team is "soft", but in reality it's too many guys relying on the "other" Pro Bowler to come through.

You don't have this problem on a team like Atlanta or Miami or Arizona. Teams with a vast majority of guys looking to prove something, not only for the team but for their own free-agency agenda. Everyone plays "hard" and full speed on every play because their individually and collectively hungry and determined.

That's my interpretation on the whole "soft" thing. Too many Cowboys relying on some other "super star" to make a play..................
