Strong QB play + great coaching + good run defense + good pass rusher + minimal turnovers + strong Front Office + supportive but not meddlesome ownership = Championship Quality

Should I just go find another team? Should I just bow down to a team that has ripped Jerry off, never earning their pay? Two players are responsible, but they sell Jerseys, and walk smooth then lose.
No doubt it’s a very frustrating situation. And not many have been more critical of our ownership.

But I have come to grips with what all of this means. It’s why I’ve been Apathetic for years.

Unfortunately there’s not much we can do unless you’re going to totally abort the NFL.

Because even if you watch other teams or games Jethro still gets the TV Equal Revenue share. Same as if you watched the Cowboys .

And season ticket holders can’t walk away with PSL’s and why they broker out their seats to more opposing fans . No, the fix is in. Until death does us part.

Whatever the it is Cowboys ain’t got it.
Dumb QB who never learns from his mistakes. He never gets better.
No running game.
Suspicious Oline.
Over hyped defense.
An owner who pretends to be a GM.

Pretty much take everything we have and go in the opposite direction.
Start with an owner that lives eats and breathes winning a super bowl and that's seen and not heard
Follow that with a professional general manager.
Augment that with a real Coach not some retread butt kisser.
Power running game see Derrick Henry the runner we could have had.
Dominant offensive line see 2016 online.
Vintage doomsday defense capable of shutting the run down and the pass. Guys like Bob Lilly Randy White Harvey Martin too tall Jones now that's defensive lineman. Most definitely not the kitty cat hot boys

Captain America under center someone that can make plays with their legs make good decisions and make the whole rest of the team play way above their heads. And is clutch in the playoffs.

You need an entire organization,
From the owner
All the way down to the Waterboy
Everybody, I mean, everybody needs to be on the same page
It’s not just your head coach,
It’s not just your GM
It’s not just your position coaches
It’s definitely not the cheerleaders. Even though some here act like it is lol
It’s the organization, the franchise
If one part is broken, the whole thing is broken

And somewhere in the middle, it’s the actual players.
With the little help from the football, God, and the injury God.
I still have faith. The Cowboys will win a championship. It will all come together cowboy family. Go Cowboys.

Well, and, tbf, the one championship that Mike won, he was a WC team. Hopefully, he can work some magic, and we get hot at the right time.

I dare you to find a successful franchise that doesn't have troubles at the top like the Cowboys do. Successful ownership will bring in all the best parts and will do anything to win. Our owner makes the most money, could care less about the players/fans, and does his best to ensure that those parts needed avoid coming here because of him.

As much as I love the enthusiasm of some on here, the harsh reality is that there is NO evidence of anything changing for years to come, and there is nothing to look forward to as a fan of this team. Will I watch? Yep, like I have for the last 40 years. Do I want them to win? Yep, like I have for the last 40 years. Is there anything that holds optimism for the future to keep me engaged and hopeful? You know the answer, and I am not alone.

If you think it's bad now? It will only get worse

First and up front is a GM and scouts to acquire talent then a coaching staff to implement the strategy. I refuse to believe a “ franchise “ QB is needed when I’ve seen Mark Rypien Trent Dilfer and Joe Flacco win SB’s .

To me a more important aspect then top notch QB is have a defense that’s impossible to deal with . The Bears of the late 80’s won with the Singletary Dent Perry Rivera Plank defense that shut you down . On offense Jim McMahon was serviceable , Walter Payton happened to keep drives alive.

I agree.......IMO. about half of what you mentioned can get you to the playoffs but to win a Super Bowl, you are exactly right, you need all of it and then a little luck.

It starts and ends at the top IMO. 20-25 years ago no one questioned Jerry's commitment to not just winning but winning a Super Bowl. Off seasons were focused on upgrades to close the gap with top teams. Now.......offseasons are spent adding dots to fill out a team......

It starts from the top down. Starts with a good culture and a sound front office. As you can see Jerrah has failed miserably at both so it rots on down from him. Jerry’s legacy to me will be he destroyed the Dallas Cowboys with his ego. I’m not giving Jerry any credit for those 3 super bowls, that credit goes to Jimmy.
3 decades of this garbage GM/owner has killed any goodwill he may have had.

Good Owner GM, Coaches, talented players. Dallas has big problems with all of those.
