Besides being the lead motion wide receiver on a run play to block, what else does he bring to the table?

I'm hoping we can go with someone else this season. Vasher or an unknown camp/pre-season standout. Please give me your thoughts, keep him, or let the experiment be over!!??

By an unknown, do you mean another fan over rated player. Such as a Rico Gathers or the RB Jackson guy.
:lmao2:

He’s a good blocker but the problem is when he’s in game you almost know it’s a run play

although last year he started to catch more passes

I’ve never been a bid Noah guy because he came from OSU and I can’t stand the buckeyes but Noah does dirty work and does it well

This Noah Brown thing is so strange to me.

Why are y’all so obsessed with the 5th WR? WR5’s are guys who rarely see the field for consistent offensive snaps, they are primarily ST’ers. When they do get to play, you’re looking for a reliable/solid player who can help in a pinch.

Noah Brown is the epitome of what a WR5 is.

You can hope for a playmaking guy to take his spot but that’s not what WR5’s are on the roster for. If the guy can’t block and play ST’s better than Noah Brown he won’t make the team over him, simple.

The top 4 WR’s are who you look for to make plays, not WR5. Additionally, none of the other WR’s have shown anything to usurp him.

If Fehoko, Vasher, or one of the other guys can make plays in the preseason and show higher than WR 4/5 potential while also playing ST’s at a high level then you won’t see Noah Brown on the team. But until that happens you’re not gonna see Brown replaced and rightfully so.

You don’t need a finesse WR5 you need a ST’er who does the dirty work. Stop worrying so much about guys who are 5th on the depth chart.

Let him battle the youngins in camp
And may the best players win.

He hasn't done S for us not to be churned by now for a cheaper player who may still have a ceiling....so you Buckeye fans PLEASE stop it!!!

who is Noah Brown?

I think he can be used as a split Y. Our TEs are not speedy enough. Make a LB cover him and he can help

Because if Dak is good at anything, it's spreading the ball around to different players. He's great a looking through his progressions, and when you have players who don't really do much for the offense, taking up a roster spot, you wonder what you could do with his position, and you weigh whether his production elsewhere on ST, and, yes, blocking, is worth keeping him as the dirty work sort of guy.

It's worth discussing, because it may or may not be a potential question mark. If Noah Brown's job were secure, then they wouldn't need to invite all the other UDFA WRs on the roster. And there are some interesting prospects on the roster.
