Who starts at RT? Free or Parnell? I really like the way Parnell attacks people and how he moves his man backward in the run game. He has a powerful punch.

Who gets released? Just by looking at it I wanna say Arkin, but I wouldn't mind keeping him over a guy like Frampton who might be out week 1 anyway.

Parnell's not ready for prime time yet in my opinion. I think they only had 52 so no one needs released.

I wouldn't be opposed to having Free and Parnell switch off at RT mid game like late last year. Then again, the importance of cohesiveness on an OLine cannot be underestimated.

Personally, I'd want to cut Wilbur or try to get another 7th for him.

Thought they had 52 till they traded for that DE from the Colts.......I think they have to make a move

It means we have the best offensive line in the NFC East and a top 12-15 in the league. It also means we have some real good depth now with Berny,Parnell and Costa in case anyone gets hurt and misses a little time. Love that we did this. Helps the running game and passing game.

I'm sure some people will complain because they are just impossible to please but once this group gets a few games under their belt, Dallas will be very difficult to beat

Parnell becomes the swing tackle, send Weems to the PS - but i guess you have to put him on wavers first ? Good for Parnell and Weems - more practise. See what he has on the PS for next year and can be bought up if any injuries occur.

Yeah and if we can go 4-2 or 5-1 and then get Rat back that would help even more

Hopefully we get a motivated Rat back, I'd like nothing more but I'm not counting on it. He doesn't seem to want to be here anymore or something.

they waived frampton i believe

I'd rather that not be the move, but we do have six safeties and I'm sure we can't carry them all to games. Would rather not carry 10 offensive linemen, so cutting Weems and moving him to the practice squad would be the better choice.

Read where Frampton was waived injured, so I'm OK with that.

Im not sure why anybody is comfortable with Free starting at RT again. He was abysmal last season there and looked completely incompetent at LT the year before that.

I think Parnell and Free will platoon at RT and both will perform below average. I hope I am wrong.

It appeared in the preseason that he refound his form. Doesn't mean it'll translate to the regular season, but he was handling the position very well with the starting group. But having Parnell there to push him and replace him if he falters gives me some comfort.

For starters we wont have to put lipstick on a pig (Free) at RG and call it a beauty.

Lol people were saying we have one of thw worst lines in the league. Now with the addition of one guy were the best in the nfc east and so on and so on. Lol
But its NOT just one guy. Its the addition of Leary and Fred along with Waters, that's a very strong big physical inside game. Not sure where you get "one guy" from, focus on the big picture.

Free had a great offseason, improved his technique and confidence back he will play fine. If not Parnell will step in and play. I don't believe either of them are below average players this year, I think they are both more than serviceable

Agreed. Based on the little we saw of Free this preseason (what, a combined four or five quarters), he seemed much improved over what we had grown accustomed to over the previous 32 games. And with Frederick already a clear upgrade over anything we've had at center in recent years, it's hard not to be excited about the potential of this Waters signing.

We've completely reshaped the interior of the offensive line, and seemingly for the (much) better.
