What Eagles fans are in denial

Have to admit Foles and Barkley were dreadful yesterday. Foles was so bad he wouldn't have been able to complete 50% of his passes playing pitch and catch in his backyard.

we should be calling them up thanking them that Foles, (even our fans were impressed with him, smh) sucks. I personally sent them a thank you card for beliving in the hype of Foles, and that Dallas was thankful for the gift and can go ahead and delude themselves in thinking they won a game, that THEY clearly had no business winning. But thats Garretts other MO, play down to your competition.

So id let the Philly fans gripe over it, but if they had a qb yesterday, forget it, Dallas is in another shoot out and the victor is decided by a coin flip, because it could have been ugly yesterday.

Agreed, but to be real, Reid had a ton of say in the way the Philly roster was built.

I'm just glad he's out of the east, he's one of the best active coaches in the NFL. Got to love Philly switching him out for a gimmicky dud who's scheme looks like it's already been figured out

Live in Bensalem less than 10 minutes outside of Philadelphia. The excuse this time around I keep hearing is "congrats you beat up a 3rd string qb." I then say, funny the other guy was in most of the game and suppose to be the up and comer. What's even more baffling is they totally discount we were missing all but hatcher on the DL and that Murray was out. I point out the refs screwed us they say the refs had no effect. I say we won were in 1st they say congrats you scored 17 on the worst defense in the nfl. And they ALL finish with December and Romo INTs to lose the season aren't far off. I'll tell you, living here my whole life, it gets oh so old. With that said, I am relentless in my taunting after all the years I've been ruthlessly taunted

Foles may have missed a couple yesterday but our CB's were in position to catch a few interceptions if he hadn't missed. Thats a mixed bag right there.

It sounds worlds different. Our fans line up to throw the team and the organization under a bus.

That said, I suspect that same thing is actually more of what's really happening in Philly. You could hear their own fans turning on the Eagles Realist-style by the middle of the second quarter. OP is probably referring to specific conversations he's getting with Eagles fans who know they're talking to a lifelong Cowboy fan.

No matter how you slice it, not being able to protect Foles against our triage-unit on Sunday is not something they ought to be chirping about. They just got beat at home by two scores by a division rival in a game for control of the NFCE. They oughta be pretty bummed. They let a golden chance get away.

Foles missed more than a couple in 29 attempts he only completed 11 passes and missed a wide open receiver in the end zone from only a short distance away. Barkley was even worse having 3 of his 20 attempts picked off. Not trying to take anything away from the Cowboys defense they have shown some improvement the past 2 weeks but that's about as bad a QB play as you'll ever see in an NFL game.

Philly has already seen the greatest player in their franchises history Reggie White win a SB with the Packers. They held their breath in 98 watching Randell Cunningham lead the Vikings to a 15-1 record while they were going 3-13 with Rodney Peete, Koy Detmer and Bobby Hoying at QB. There would have been a mass suicide in Philly had Cunningham led Minnesota to a championship. It would be pretty hilarious if Philly ends up at the bottom of the NFC East while Reid is leading KC to a championship.

Chip is looking more and more like a coach who may not make it in the NFL. Going for a 60 yard field go was incredibly stupid and he's lucky it didn't bite him there.

I hate eagles fans,even though I think a good percentage of all fan bases are in denial.
