What effect will signing Osa have?

I just HOPE the FO understands we still need two more DL at least; and one of them an inside guy. A REAL NT is an absolute must if you want to really anchor the line
It shouldn't have any effect. Still need at least 1 DT very very early in the draft.

I think it doesn't press the need to select a dt in round 1. They absolutely still need guys to add to the rotation, so wouldn't rule out a dlinemen in round 1, but does provide them insurance and flexibility.
not really. They must upgrade. And to be blunt getting just one DT early is not enough.

It would be a flashing red light at DT if they didn't retain Osa and probably the most glaring weakness. It is still a big position of need and among several positions of need.

Agree, I honestly can't imagine them going into the regular season with a DT rotation of Mazi Smith, Justin Rogers, and Osa.

Re-signing Osa only means you have the same problems with less cap space.

Jane Slater said on the insiders that the Cowboys will be concentrating on the trenches this draft not wide receiver and running back.

So let me get this straight. Let's really dive into this thinking.

So the Cowboys, in early March, have decided their draft plan and let Jane Slater know about it so she can tell the others.

Think, McFly. Think.

If the Cowboys don't seriously address running back and wide receiver this offseason it will be yet another thoroughly idiotic decision.

But hey. I don't have porn lips or anything.

Hopefully nothing…he’s the onoy quality DT on the roster.

I’m hopeful Mazi takes the year 3 jump but I’d 100% still take a DT in the 1st or 2nd.

Good. I mean they still need a rb atleast in round 3 but I have no need for a drafted receiver..... they need to sign or trade for one.

I know he doesn’t have the stats but Stewart DE Texas A&M looks like he was made to play defensive end. I am guessing he was probably the number 1 defensive lineman out of high school. He looks better then Abdul Carter.
